DeMarini Omega Hybrid BBCOR Bat 2025 (-3)

About This Item

Making its debut as the lightest-swinging hybrid bat in our BBCOR family, the 2026 Omega (-3) BBCOR Baseball Bat empowers players to build a controlled, repeatable swing for improved exit velocities, optimal launch angles and maximum distance. The same materials found in The Goods take on a new shape in Omega’s X14 Alloy Barrel profile, prioritizing balance to help players get the bat head over the plate and consistently catch up to the high fastball. Omega, backed by DeMarini’s Expanded BBCOR Warranty, uses an Upgraded Direct Connection and 1275 Composite Handle to deliver a comfortable feel and forgiveness for reduced hand sting.

Great Bat, Except…

Bought this 6 months ago, for my son who was a freshman playing JV/Varsity. He is not a big kid, so needed a bat he could easily get around and more balanced than the Goods 2 piece. He liked the flex of the bat and enjoyed the feel when he barreled the ball. The lighter swing weight allowed him to remain a gap to gap hitter, but the alloy barrel seemed to provide additional distance with the majority of his doubles reaching the fence. Why not 5 stars? First, the taper on the handle could be better.. And, we are on the DeMarini site right now because we had to complete a warranty return. During live batting practice at school for fall ball, the connection failed. Hoping this was a one off with the bat being so new and improvements made. If we are granted a warranty replacement, he would rather stay with the Omega than move to the end loaded Goods 2 piece. He does have another bat, the newer one piece alloy with the unique sound from a company that rolls out limited releases and has gone viral (if you know, you know…). He still preferred the Omega, he liked the feel off the sweet spot, which he said was easier to find on the Omega. He’ll be using his “Rodeo” bat until a replacement comes, which hopefully will be soon or else he may just stick with the “Rodeo”.

Excellent Bat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this bat. The weight, balance are performance are great, making the transition from -5 to -3 seamless.

Omega

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great bat great pop. Smaller barrel but great when you find the sweet spot!

Nice Bat!

I bought this bat for my soon to be 13yr old as his first BBCOR. He has always loved DeMarini and this one is no different. Well balanced with a nice sweet spot!

Omega Ok.

Deemed as same barrel as the goods, not buying that. 10 mph drop in exit velocity vs. goods. Sounds dead in game ball. Had my team use it and after first at bat they went back to their own bats. Not great.

Demarini Omega Bbcor Bat Review

The DeMarini Omega is a standout in the 2025 BBCOR lineup, built for hitters who want power, precision, and all-around consistency. Featuring a one-piece alloy construction, the Omega delivers the stiff, connected feel power hitters love, but with enough balance and comfort to appeal to contact guys as well. Its Omega Alloy barrel offers a huge sweet spot and impressive pop right out of the wrapper. The slightly end-loaded swing weight gives you extra carry without feeling heavy through the zone. Whether you’re driving balls gap-to-gap or launching deep fly balls, the Omega brings serious exit velocity to every swing. Despite being a one-piece, vibration is minimal. The Fortified Handle design keeps your hands comfortable, even on mishits—a rare trait in stiff alloy bats. It feels smooth and controlled without sacrificing performance. Durability is another win. The Omega can handle hundreds of swings without losing pop, making it a go-to option for high school and college players who need something they can rely on all season. In short, the Omega is a weapon. It swings clean, hits hard, and holds up under pressure. If you're looking for a BBCOR bat that checks every box—barrel, feel, pop, and longevity—this one should be at the top of your list. Final Score: 9.4/10 Power: 9.5 Barrel: 9.3 Feel: 9.4 Durability: 9.5 Vibration Control: 9.2 The DeMarini Omega isn’t just great, it’s one of the best bats in the game right now.

Graduation Gift

My son had sent a grad card and received among other things a discount code for 30% off! He immediately bought the Omega as he has been saving up for awhile for it! We can’t thank you enough! He has state this week so hopefully all goes well. Thank you again!

Pretty Good Bat

Bought it 2 weeks ago and it pretty good so far. The only thing that I don't like is the military discount they said I was getting and I have already bought 3 bats and they never gave me my discount on none of them it's pretty sad.

Probably One Of Best Hybrid Contact Hitter Bats

Son plays for local Dallas College and he has great success with this bat since it came out. Light weight easy to handle to get to off speed pitching. Has hit plenty of triples and singles so it has plenty of pop. No durability issues. He has a Warstic Bonesaber hybrid but said the Omega was lighter.

So Far Not As Much Pop As Expected.

Son is more of a line drive opposite field and contact hitter who was swinging the Voodoo. Getting bigger and stronger so thought he'd try the Omega as good reviews comparing it to an easier swinging Goods. Initially liked the feel and pop in the cage but after a couple weeks went back to the voodoo. Exit velo, "pop" and on field results were better (almost instantly) after he switched back. Son feels the voodoo is much more "balanced".

Terrible Durability

This bat came with quick shipping, but after a few practices the end cap popped off and shattered into pieces. The sound and performance is alright, durability is terrible. Just don't waste your money on this bat please.

Great Bat

Bought this for my son playing high school baseball lot of pop and extra base hits he loves the bat

Amazing Bat !!!!

Received as a replacement for my son and his team absolutely love this bat and are on a hitting streak using it

Omega

Bat has plenty of pop. Sweet spot could be a little bigger and taper on the hand could be better but not disappointed.

Omega-demarini

Ordered this bat and was impressed with the quick shipping! Color is super nice! Just got it yesterday, and my son hasn’t been able to put it down. I was hesitant about getting a two-piece bat, but this one is surprisingly durable and well-balanced. It has a great sweet spot, and my son already hit a couple of dingers in a scrimmage. So far, it’s living up to the hype—definitely a solid choice for this upcoming baseball season. We will be doing more reviews on this bat to come.
