Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rides well Good for intermediate rider. Not so much for advanced rider that does jumps, etc. Dicks has good customer service when things break, but diamondback not so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality bike that doesn’t break the bank I bought this bike because a read good reviews and I trust Diamondback. They make great bikes. I’ve put about fifty miles on this riding intermediate and advanced single track. It’s a little on the heavy side but I can’t tell a big difference when riding it. Front and rear suspension are better than average but I plan on upgrading them later. Bike handles bumpy terrain and down hill very well. It’s has a solid frame with pretty good components. You could easily upgrade this bike for under $500 and I’ll bet it would compete with $1500 to $2000 bikes. Usually at this price point you get a great frame with sub par components but that’s not the case with the Recoil. Looking forward to seeing how this bike holds up after more punishment on the trails. The key is to make sure you get it tuned by a professional.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh I rode this bike On the trails for the first time today. I noticed it does not like going in the lowest gear it will change gears back and forth which is really annoying. The front fork seems cheap there is a warning sticker on it to not use other than for cross country riding. If you are a beginner and or just want something to ride around campus or the neighborhood then this is a really nice bike. Not quite trail material imo but it will handle some light stuff. The brakes are cable brakes and not hydraulic which I expected at this price point.
