This is a very basic stopwatch that you can use as a timer and calculate laps. It does not have other functions. I bought this as a discount, but probably wouldn’t purchase at full price.

Timer ran 1.5min in one min....so not accurate timer. Also no countdown feature. Only a timer with date/alarm option. Returned.

Bought this mid track season 2022. Didn't use it often. Figured the problems i was having were user error. Fast forward to 2023 track - nope. This is a horrible stop watch. Not at all user friendly. Regret not checking it out better last year. Probably can't return it at this point. Have an easier time trying to juggle my cell phone stop watch to get times.

First of all it comes with zero instructions. If you sort of know what you’re doing you can mess with all the buttons to set the time/date and use it as a simple start/stop stopwatch. But then an alarm will periodically go off because there is no way to shut this stopwatch down. It does not automatically shut off either. I’m throwing it in the trash to save my sanity. I have a much better one but couldn’t find it on a trip out of town so I popped into a Dick’s store and bought this one. Don’t bother!

There were two identical "Pro Stopwatch" products to choose from that were in the exact same size packaging, color and size however, one was- {$9.99 I believe it was}- and the other one $19.99. After reading the front of both packages VERY thoroughly, it became obvious that the more expensive one actually had a claim that it was/is- {"Water Resistant" I believe it said}- at the very bottom of the front of the packaging- {I mistakenly discarded the packaging already} Believing that the $19.99 one was a superior product I decided to get that one. This was especially true seeing as it is/was for the outdoors of the NewEngland Coast of Cape Cod on the Falmouth Shining Sea Bike Path going into the Fall through winter. I read the directions and set the Date and Time accordingly however, it seemed to me just by visually looking that the digital "Seconds" display it seemed to be calculating the seconds way to fast, but I just moved on to the ONLY reason why I purchased this product in the first place which is specifically for only two things: 1.) The "Stopwatch" feature and- 2.) The "Split" Counter feature I purchased this about a week and a half ago, but I have had a difficult time getting the "Split" counter to allow me to return back to see that "First" time "Count" after I stop the "Second" time "Count" I am trying to calculate. I only- {Personally} -need to know the distance in one direction, which is the halfway point and then the other when I return to the beginning. So, finally, I just decided today to go to see if I could find a U-tube video that might teach me how the "Split" feature works because I cannot understand the directions no matter how many times I read them, Period! I cannot rely on my Cellphones stopwatch feature ONLY because it is too difficult to get it out and unlock it at the halfway point and THEN especially the finish point I am trying to calculate the time of otherwise, I would just continue to use the cellphone stopwatch but after having another problem unlocking it yesterday and costing me precious LOST seconds again I was trying to get the "StopWatch" from Dicks ready to go this morning while sitting in front of my desktop and I noticed that the date and time were off substantially. When I went to reset them, that is how I just today realized that indeed the digital seconds are counting at "DOULBLE" speed and why the date and time were set to Sept. 07,2022 instead of today August 30th, 2022. I could actually even overlook that because as I said I ONLY want it for the "Stopwatch & Split" feature however, the digital second hand is also counting "DOUBLE" time on the stopwatch part also! :( It looks like IF I want to rectify this not only do I have to drive all the way back to the Hyannis "Dicks" location which is approximately 23 miles from Falmouth in each direction, but I have the added problem of NOT having the packaging and possibly not even the hard copy receipt ;( Then, even if I go do that today which I most likely will, I have to open the product there to install the battery and test it on site because I cannot risk having this happen again! I understand this is a piece of technology, and tech breaks down from to time just like machines- {Cars} - and this is definitely NOT "Dicks" fault, but it is a long haul in the summer traffic of Cape Cod to really NOT know whether the others are just like this one. Maybe the cheaper one that does not claim to be "water resistant" works better? We shall see and I just might update this review to boot! Sincerely, Mr.SemperFi

This was a gift so at least I didn’t buy it. First- I definitely needed the directions to get this up and running and to figure out how to set the different features. You would be lost without the directions. The clock feature is fast- it won’t keep correct time. The alarm feature I feel like I keep thronging it off- yet it still keeps chiming randomly and I have no idea why. I only use this now as a spare to keep a clock for my games. As one reviewer mentioned- there is no turning off feature- so I am sure the battery will die soon enough- and I will not replace it.
