Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't stand up to the test... I purchased these straw bottles for my team of 9-11 year old boys for football. The straws broke at the base of the bottle during the first preseason game. I think the boys were trying to bend the straws to get water thru their face masks. I am sadly disappointed at the durability of the the Dicks brand. I expected more from Dicks as we have purchase ALL of our football equiptment from Dicks in the past. With a team of 35 boys, we don't have the funds to purchase new water bottles for the team. With the pending 100 degree weather here in California -we sure could use some durable bottles.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Improvement The bottles were fine but the carrier could be built stronger. When the boys are rushing to get a drink and get back out on the field they grab the bottles and easily broke out dividers in the carrier and the sides. We duct taped it but making the carrier a little strong would help to last out the whole season.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dicks Team Water Bottles and Carrier ONE OF THE BEST RIGS FOR A TEAM YOU COULD POSSIBLY IMAGINE...UNLESS YOU ARE KIDS AND CANT remeber that these are squeeze bottles and NOT STRAWS!Unfortuneatly, I bought to support my sons rocket football and the league will not use them due to cleanliness and health issues...which I TOTALLY understand.GREAT quality and enough water to keep the thirst away! WIll use for the family at the beach or during times where we need hydration readily available! WE ARE VERY ACTIVE AND THESE ARE HANDY!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from STRAW BOTTLE CARRIER The carrier is just fine, the bottles with the straws are just garbage. The tops are made from the cheapest plastic available. Out of the six bottle that came with if 4 of them were broken in the first week if use. If the bottle is dropped once when full the straw breaks right off the top. I had to go back out and purchase the squeeze bottle type. I would recommend you do the same or buy a different brand. You will just be wasting your money if you purchase these. I know I did.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful I purchased this product for our youth football team because the bottles that they had..you have to turn them up for them to get water out of and almost always the kids clothes, uniforms, etc. was getting wet. I opted for these as they could squeeze the bottle and no water would get on their clothes. The water didn't get on their clothes but the tops broke during the first game with them. It's poorly constructed if using this for football uuuugghhh

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap but poor quality We needed water bottles for our hockey team and got these because they were way cheaper than the Gatorade ones. Well, they didn't really work, the water didn't come out of the straw very well and some lids didn't screw on properly. We drilled out some of the straws since it looked like they were improperly made which fixed some of them, but we still have the issues with the lids that don't screw on correctly. They aren't horrible, just not good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dick's Water bottles could be better I think $30 is a little pricey for 6 water bottles and carrier. Used them for youth football. 1st time we used them, lost one of the caps that go on the spouts. The caps slide off too easily. By our 4 game one of the lids broke at the spout/stem. The lids are made of plastic that is too hard & brittle. They also don't work great for kids this age....the coaches have to squeeze them for the boys so they don't get completely drenched.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not A good idea The straw seems like A good idea. Not A good idea. The kids on the hockey team try to drink out of them like A straw in cup. I tried to put a block on the top so they could not get it thru their cages into their mouth. worked kinda. They lasted about 2 weeks before all the lids broke where the straw went thru the lids threw them out and bought the gatorade bottles still using them 2 years later
