[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago and it’s the best in my collection, will be picking up more dmm QuickDraws. You can feel the quality when clipping it to a hangar. I’d whip 10/10 times

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favourite draws were the DMM Shadow 25cms. A buddy of mine managed to lose 3 of my Shadows and I was looking for a replacement. It's not easy to find DMM in the USA, and unable to find the shadow I opted to fork out the extra bucks for the Alphas. They are the premium version for sure. Nice clipping action, thoughtful design of the lower biner, and a good solid dogbone. I like the extra length for navigating longer tufa routes where rope drag can become... Well a drag. I also use them on straight up vert just because they are such a pleasure to clip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started with hook nose quickdraws, like many of us did. I got the cheap ones. They worked, but they kind of sucked. I spent the money to upgrade to hook free, but still went cheap. I loved them. But only because I didn't have anything else to compare them to. Thanks to some MJ reward money I bought a few of these to test them out. They're heavy, sure, and I'm keeping my middle set to supplement my trad draws, but they're worth the weight. Easy to clip. Easy to unclip. Slightly less stiff (torsionally) compared to some of the other thick draws. Basically, I wish I'd bought these years ago.
