Great Rod For The Money

Purchased on sale with no expectations, I fish a lot of Dobyns higher end rods and this is an excellent value for the price. It’s got a nice soft tip and enough backbone when you catch a fish to land it easily. The 7’ MH action is versatile I’ve thrown topwater, light jigs, and Texas rigs as well as a weightless zoom super like and this fits the bill nicely.

Really Good Rod For The Price

Let me start by saying I almost exclusively fish with Dobyn’s rods. I have 3 in the fury (703c,734c, 735c) series and one champion XP (744c), I purchased the Frenzy 735c for a second frog/ pitching stick and the 705cb for 75/90 prop baits, poppers, and squarebills) I actually like the 735c frenzy over my more expensive fury. It is much lighter and I did not expect it to be as sensitive as it is. It’s not champion xp quality but it’s a very good rod for $63 on sale. It needs a 734c in the series as well
