Runs Extremely Small!

In what world is a size 8 too small for a 5'2" 120lb woman? I followed the size chart exactly, and thought to myself, wow I've never worn a size 8 in my life. I'm usually a size 2-4. But I decided to trust the size chart and ordered a size 8. I could barely get it on without it ripping and it was extremely tight. That means I would need a size 10 or maybe even a 12. That's just so ridiculous. And since this is a final sale now I'm stuck with an item I can't wear so I've wasted my money. Very disappointed.

Dolfin conservative one piece bathing suit is the only type I buy. They are the only company that uses bra inserts that don't disintegrate in chlorine pools over time. I wear a zize 8-10 dress size, but my bathing suit is size 12. If you are a lap swimmer this is the appropriate suit.
