Training Bathingsuit

very challenging to get on runs too small but did stretch over time

Not As Described

I was so excited for these to come in the mail as I teach water survival in the Coast Guard. The reviews were very up and down but none of them reference the fact that these have absolutely no padding in the bus and no support. The photos in the ad have to be slightly filtered because you can see every shape and outline with these suits. I would absolutely not go out in public or in front of students looking like this.

Good Lap Swimming Suit

If you need a swimsuit for swimming laps this is a good basic suit. It’s inexpensive and will last probably 6 months.

Runs Small!

Wow when they say it runs small, it really does. I wasn’t sure about sizing so I got a 28. It was so tight I barely squeezed in it, it looked like for kids. I had to return it and buy a bigger size. So I got a 32 and 34 and the 32 fit wonderfully and I returned the 34. Btw im petite and weigh 85 lbs and I am 5 ft. It also shows your back as well, I wasn’t expecting it because I didn’t see any pictures of it but it still looks nice.

Know What You're Buying

This is a lap suit, for swimming competitively and practicing. If you are not a competitive swimmer then this suit is really not for you for the following reasons: 1. competition suits are not padded or are not thickly lined, this is to eliminate drag. 2. They are not supportive, there are no cups, this is to eliminate drag; 3. They are thin and not lined - because when they get old you layer them over/under other suits to *create* drag at practice, and 4. they are cheap because they are bare-bones suits, very little fluff goes into them. These are not recreational or modesty suits. They have a purpose and it is not to: Support, hide, or cover anything. Buy these suits for: speed, streamlining, practice, competition, and layering.
