Wanted a ventilated lightweight cap for summertime hiking/walking. Looked all over my local Dicks and found this one randomly at the last minute. While the price is right, it somehow sweats through more than other normal/cotton ball caps. It's def budget material, the brim feels like thin cardboard & might dissolve if aggressively washed. Fits well (normal size male head), Velcro strap adjustment is simple. The look is nice. It gets 4 stars only because of low price. For my needs, I know I gotta spend 30-40 bucks and get something a bit higher quality from the co-op store.

Great, cost effective hat for getting sweaty!! Dries quickly and is washable.

Many months ago my friend, "A", who is on the Autism spectrum decided we needed to go to Dick's at Independence Center in Independence, MO every Sunday. We usually walked around looking at everything and then leaving. One day he wanted to help close the door between the store and the mall. He asked Sam, an employee, if he could help. Sam was very gracious and got everything ready, did the last second countdown, as requested, and let "A" close the door. When the door reached the floor, "A" cheered and so did Sam. Some weeks it was Sam; other weeks it was Travis. They always seemed genuinely happy to see him, did the countdowns, and cheered with him. Julia, another employee, always made sure everyone knew "A" was there to close the door. Every person working there would greet us. Some would ask "A" if he had gotten his Pepsi or bought cookies. Eddie, the manager, is just as amazing. The atmosphere he has helped create along with the people he has is quite something. A couple weeks ago, "A" said it was the last time he would close the door. I was saddened. It has become such a part of our "adventures." He wrote a note for Sam explaining it. Sam was not there that day, so he read the letter to Travis saying he could not close the door during football season, but would be back in the spring for baseball season. Travis said they would all miss and "A" told him we would come walk around, but not close the door. He does not always recognize that they all do genuinely like seeing him, but I do. I appreciate it more than they will ever know. It makes my heart happy to know we have a safe place to go without judgement. The people of Dick's Sorting Goods at Independence Center in Independence, Mo are truely amazing people from the top down!!

This is a nice light and breathable cap. I bought it for running and it serves the purpose well.
