My 10-year-old was excited to see these. She struggles to find bathing suits & undies comfortable on her muscular bottom half, and tends to have decent luck with boyshort styles. These bottoms were super cute, but just did not fit the way she wanted them to. We chose to return them, and go with the high-waisted bikini bottom instead.
