I purchased these for my son who is 4 years old. It's his first soccer experience. He likes wearing them, but won't actually play soccer, so I can't rate them on what they're intended for. They work really well for sitting in the grass, picking dandelions, walking back and forth to the car, and for running away from Coach Dad. He tries to wear them in the house, so he must like them, but they're pretty slippery on the hardwood floor, so maybe avoid that. I'll update my review if he ever actually participates in the sport.
