Do Not Buy In 2025: Huge Decline In Quality

DO NOT BUY IN 2025: I LOVE these shorts and own 4 pairs of them, they are my favorite pair of gym shorts ever. I wear them every single day. I recently had a pair that tore after hundreds of washes and very hard use over three years. No worries, at this price point I was very happy with the quality and use I got out of them. I went to go buy a new pair and they are completely different. The material is paper thin, the waistband width is significantly smaller does not clinch to your body, the shorts were falling off my waist even after tying the string and they were falling off my body the second I put my phone in my pocket. I was afraid they were going to tear just from moving my legs around. I tried on five pairs hoping that the first pair was a fluke, they were all the same terrible quality. I am so disappointed and shame on Dick's for reducing the quality and keeping the price the same. I rarely leave reviews but this was so upsetting and heartbreaking to me I felt the need to warn others of the massive decline in quality of these shorts, I really really hope they fix this and return them to their former glory.

Recommended Comfortable Workout Shorts

I bought these shorts as a replacement for others that no longer fit my dad bod (I'm working on it...). They come with a nice drawstring waist and a hidden zippable pocket which is great for walking the dogs in the morning so you don't lose your keys! I would purchase them again - hopefully in a smaller size once I've made more progress using them on my workouts!
