Great Board For Beginner

My son really wanted a board that had a foam top to it, but we didn’t order in time so grabbed this one on our way to the beach. he had never used a skim board before and was able to get the hang of it in about half a day. It definitely needs to be waxed before using. He tried it without wax and it was slippery to the point that it easily slid out from under him, hitting his ankle and leaving a big bruise. We picked up some wax for about two dollars at a souvenir shop at the beach.
