Love the loose fit and how the liner doesn’t dig in. The slits on the sides are just big enough to allow my thighs to move freely while still laying flat on my leg. The waist doesn’t dig and can be tightened. I’m picky on the fit of shorts so these were an awesome find, I have them in 4 colors now. I could have sized down to a small but then it would’ve rolled up on my thighs with movement. I’m typically a medium depending on the brand
