Duckett Fishing Micro Magic Pro Casting Rod Review

I read some reviews on Duckett's line of casting & spinning rods and decided to give the Micro Magic casting rod a try, primarily because of the great sale price at Dick's. In a word, it's OK. Alot of complaints about the eyes not holding up but I haven't had any issues yet. It's rated a little soft and found the medium closer to a med light, so I returned it and got a med heavy 7'...much better. Haven't used it that long, but so far so good. Worth the sale price for sure.

Great Rod. Better Feel Than Abu Garcia Fantasista And St Croix

I own a lot of high end rods, and these Duckett rods are great. I am not sure what the other guy did to break one, but I have hooked some HUGE fish and had zero problems. Micro guides give you an extreme sensitivity and longest casting distance of any rod I own. My favorite set up is this rod in Medium Heavy with Abu Revo Rocket reel.

Bought two and one broke sent it back they sent me a new one and the eyes were broke sent it back and they sent a nother caught a fish and jerked and broke one and got hung up and broke the other one
