Purchase this during Christmas for playtime in the pool. Easy to assemble. Material quality appears strong and able to withstand sunlight. Looking forward to basketball in the pool.

The Acrylic Backboard Seperated From The Frame 1st Hour Of Use

We called customer service and they indicated they must have had a bad batch of glue because they had serveral calls. they did send out a new backboard but I am worried it will do the same. I am now securing it using duct tape

Best Bang For Your Buck

Don't buy those Little Tike ones for your 10 -14 years old. Get this one, it weighs 200 pounds when filled up and does move with those long range 3s from the deep end. Dunn Right is the only way to go. Quality construction are unmatched.

Great Sturdy Hoop!

This is a great basketball hoop and is worth spending the extra money on something more sturdy. It has a good basketball feel to it especially with the backboard and is a perk that the height can be adjusted based on your needs. We've already had kids dunk on it and I'm not concerned with it being able to be pulled into the pool. The other nice aspect is the base can be set behind the coping and the hoop itself will still be over the pool. The set up was fairly straight forward. You will need another person to assist towards the end to connect the backboard but its not overly heavy. Definitely recommend!

Durable And Fun, Could Be More User Friendly

It’s decent but for the money could really be better. The height adjustment is kind of a pain to change once you have it set. And if the rim is not level you are probably better off shimming under the base than messing with the backboard where it connects to the plastic back plate. The vertical pole is also too wobbly for something this expensive. It is tightened with a single bolt that just doesn’t do the trick.

Best Hoop We’ve Had!

I was actually really shocked with the quality of this poolside basketball hoop. We’ve bought ones in the past that were flimsy or couldn’t stand up to my teenage nephews intense summer poolside games, but this one looks like it will do the trick. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. Unfortunately due to heavy rains, it took almost a month before we could assemble and test it out. Assembly was quite easy. My two daughters completed most of it solo. It looks great once assembled and it’s very sturdy. I’m really excited for all the use we will get out of it this summer. If you’re stuck deciding between brands, this is a really great choice.

Get It! Can’t Go Wrong With This One!

There is nothing better than a day at the pool and hoops. This is one of most sturdy pool basketball hoops and it comes with a basketball! This is going to be a highlight during the summer months from our basketball loving family. The hoop itself seems bigger than a regulation size hoop but that makes it more fun! The backboard is wide and the height of it can be adjusted if needed. It was very easy to build and took minutes to put together.

Great Product, But Not Portable

This is a solid, well made product. It’s fairly easy to put together (about 30 min), but requires two people to connect the base to the frame. It’s made it through a couple wind storms with no issues. The only thing I would have liked is wheels to move it. We don’t like to leave pool toys out if we’re not actively using the pool, once the base is filled with water, it’s extremely difficult to move. Otherwise a great pool basketball hoop.

Sturdy And Functional -Looks Durable But Difficult To Assemble And Move

This is a super sturdy basketball hoop for the pool- I was actually surprised how well built it is and how stable. It weighs a ton! And this should have been part of the instructions -The reason I gave 4 stars is that it was also incredibly difficult to assemble -needed additional help to hold and align the screws-and them to actually move it even a few inches! -very heavy! It actually would be good for a local Or public pool it's that sturdy .once assembled it works really well! And the added touch of a "real" basketball was nice.Another issue I foresee is that the rim - which will rust and deteriorate in sunny Fl - will be difficult to replace as the entire backboard has to be taken down and dissembled ...Our regulation size basketball hoops we've purchased in the past were easy to replace the rims - my final rating is 4 stars for the strength and endurance and looks of this unit but with a caveat that moving it at all is problematic and replacing the rim will be hard

Great Addition To Everyone’s Pool

The set came in a very big box, and it was heavy mainly because of the board and rim. The materials used to make the set are good. There are no sharp edges in the entire set, thus it is safe for young kids. It is a two-man job to set up the basketball hoop set because of the weight. The instruction manual is only one page, but it is clear and straightforward enough for a newbie like me. I placed the base at the desired location before setting up the rest so that I don’t have to move it around when all is being set up. There are a couple of things I like about this set. First, the board is of adjustable height. I placed mine at the lowest because I have two young kids. Even at the lowest height, it was still high for my kids to toss the ball into the hoop. When the board is at the highest, it is the perfect height for competitive adults. Second, I like the mobility of the set. Currently I placed mine at the shallow end of my pool (5ft) for my young kids. But when adults are in the pool, I would move it to the deepest end (8ft). This set is awesome for families with young kids or teens, and even adults enjoy playing some basketball in the pool too!

Perfect Solution For "Smaller" Type Pools!!!

Just what we have been needing for our "smallish" sized pool!!! Our pool isn't big enough for a volleyball net but now that we have this, the grandkids will have a "ball" playing basketball in our pool!! The box came nicely packaged with all items secured. The unpacking process was fairly simple and all parts were included. The backboard is lightweight yet sturdy. The hoop is a vibrant turquoise to match the trim and the ball, which will look amazing with our pool colors. The instructions are fairly simple to read and assembly is a breeze! I'm super excited for summer so we can start using this!! I would highly recommend this basketball hoop set for any size pool but especially those on the smaller side that don't provide much space to play inside the pool.
