Ok For The Price

This is an ok product. Only problem I had is if a big enough fish is put in it they can actually free itself

Got Metal Instead Of Threaded

I was fully expecting to receive the red threaded stringer shown in the picture, but received a metal chain stringer that holds probably 6 fish. Was a little disappointed, but content that I got a stringer either way. Metal is thin, doesn't seem like high quality.

Perfect

For an extra dollar or two get the medal stringer. Worth every penny.

An Oldie But A Goodie

I left home and realized that I had forgotten my fish stringer. I was intending to catch some keepers and keep them alive. Fortunately, Dick's was on the way to my destination. Although I prefer a stringer with nylon clips and paracord, none were found. I quickly picked this item up. Metal is noisier, heavier, and corrodes, but strong and quite suitable. I have used these since the 1950's.

Too Lightweight

I bought this chain stringer for use with Snakehead fish. Because their heads are so big, it is very difficult to use a string stringer on them. They have sharp teeth and sharp gills so you really don't want to stick your fingers in there. The chain stringer can be poked through the floor of their mouth easier and safer. But the wire is too soft and the hardware too cheaply made for larger fish. Had I not also attached a jaw lock clamp onto the fish, I would have lost my 29 inch Snakehead. The wire loop opened up when the fish thrashed. Suitable for much smaller fish, maybe.

Not As Image Suggest

This is a metal chain not the rope as pictures please post the correct image

Not As In Photo

The item in the photo is a red cord looking stringer. But what you actually get is a chain with clips. It would work fine if that’s what you wanted.... the photo really needs to be updated. I returned it.

A Bit Clunky

Robust but takes up a lot of space, is noisy and potentially tangles with other kit. Just the thing in the right circumstances. Bought on clearance.

Excellent Buy

If u can get past the sound of metal clanking from a nice fish thrashing then this is a great but.

Not For Big Fish

Works fine for bass and trout but don't put a big catfish on the line cause it will pull the the lock a part. Lost one the other day.

Awesome Chain Fish Stringer

Picture does not match what I bought, you guys need a new picture of actual product of the all metal one

It Seems Fine

I haven't used it yet but it's out of the package and waiting for me to catch something that doesn't fit in a bucket.

Works Well For My Use.

I use the snap chain stringer on bank fishing. I find it works well for packing when changing locations and insuring you don't loose the fish.

Highly Recommended

Several friends recommended this stringer. I was looking for something strong and simple to attach to my kayak. This works beautifully
