Had the tips eye fall off of an old rod and bought this kit to replace the tip. The actual rod wasn’t broken so I had to heat up what was left of the old tip and pull it off before I could put the new one on. The kit was very easy to use and has what you need plus some extra few different sizes.

Useless If You Fish In The Sun

I bought this last summer and replaced a casting rod tip. The glue softens in the sun and the new tip will slide or spin when it gets hot. Electric tape holds better than the useless glue.
