Rated 1 out of 5 by from Was a great product This was a great product until they updated their app. Now it crashes all the time and I can't use it! Very disappointed as a single mom who thought this was expensive to begin with! Please fix the app bugs otherwise the sensor is useless!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has great features It's is cool it's great for kids to learn about their swing and tell them what to work on to be a better player for when they are older. I used it at the little league World Series and it doesn't mess up your swing. It is definitely worth the price. And you can take it anywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Immediate Difference in their swings Easton is really hitting a home run with these new HitLab products. We have been hitting in our garage for years, using an ipad for video analysis, technically training with online coaches like baseball rebellion and Epstein. This compliments our sessions and gives the kids such a fun way to track their progress. It's smart, easy to use, my sons set it up since it came while I was at work and they were sending me screenshots by the end of the day. They instantly started swinging faster as the feedback is immediate. Great product. Only thing that could be better is a way to switch between batters in the app. Currently, you can setup different bats and attach a kids name to it, but it's all in the same history. I think I'd have to buy two of these to have 2 different profiles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Android users beware Saying this product is android compatible would suggest that if you have an android device you can use the power sensor. This is NOT the case. I have a Galaxy Note4 and it is NOT compatible...from what i could tell there are only 3-4 android phones that are compatible. VERY disappointed, this should have been made clear before i dropped the buck fortynine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Power Sensor brings a new understanding! I have been using the Power Sensor for almost 1 year. I coach little league and give private batting lessons. My students average 12 - 16 yrs old. The data you gain is so eye opening, but let me say this right up front. The Sensor can't correct bad swing habits. What it does do so well is re-enforce good swing habits. If the kid has a linear (downward, throw the hands at the ball) swing... the bat path angle will reveal that flaw and bat speed doesn't increase much. This tool has been invaluable in helping hitters to understand why they should learn a rotational, or MLB style swing. Their bat bath angle begins to match the pitched ball angle. The RPM number starts to go higher as they learn to plant the stride foot and rotate. This may be the most valuable measurement the Sensor gives. As their RPM goes up, bat speed follows. A common swing flaw is batters trying to pull the bat hard from the launch position. As they relax and focus on establishing a firm front side, then rotating smoother and faster, there isn't the tension in the hands and arms. The body begins to pull the 'triangle' thru rather than trying to push the hands. It's very exciting when suddenly the kid 'puts it together' and gets a high number. They see the result, they feel it and now try to repeat it. The Power Sensor gives goals to shoot for. This is, I think, the power of the Sensor. Let's say the Bat Speed is 38 MPH in the initial evaluation. We make a few adjustments with sound swing fundamentals and suddenly the speed jumps to 44 MPH. Tangible results! We tweak the swing a bit more... 48 MPH. Let's go for 50 plus! They swing harder and drop back to 43 MPH. This is a common occurrence. The young man begins to understand the technical nature of a baseball swing. It's not raw uncontrolled power, but the application of well timed leverage, correct swing principles, trusting them and being smooth. A few more swings and bam.... 51 MPH. They are so excited and NOW, motivated to learn correct principles and practice them. I believe the Power Sensor can improve every and any batter when used properly. I've done it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome tool, when you learn how to use it... This tool is great when you learn how to use the features and use the numbers your given. It's easy to set up, I use it with the iPhone 6 Plus and an iPad mini. My Son uses it to get his power swing better. An inexpensive tool that gives great feedback. The video feature is great too.
