I originally bought the 2025 DeMarini steel but when the cap blew off after one game I figured I’d try cheaper. The ronin has a real nice balance to it. Everything I hit felt solid and has that “ping” noise some people crave for some reason. Compared to the steel it seemed much more like a line drive/contact bat. Power wise it didn’t compare to the one game I had with the steel. Although one team teammate did hit the SS and I think the ball is still going now. So if you want a solid overall bat this is a good choice. May not hit the bombs you would with a steel but you’ll be hitting lasers for doubles and triples instead. Being a $100 cheaper than the steel and getting the results I’ve had I’m extremely happy with it. I do however miss hitting easy home runs each at bat so I have went ahead and ordered another steel. The ronin I bought was 34/27. I’m 5’8” 185lbs. The steel I had purchased 34/26 Price/feels good/nice balance/solid contact- ronin Feels good/endloaded/hits for power-steel

Do Not Buy
This isn't made well. It pings with every hit. The ball doesn't hit off this bat well. No "pop" when you hit. It was chipped on the handle when I purchased it and after 3 uses, there are many paint chips on the barrel.

This Bat Ipings When You Hit The Ball.
I bought this bat about a month ago and I’m very disappointed in it. It pings when you hit the ball; not able to consistently hit with it and now I’m unable to return it.
