Bad Easton Speed Bat

I bought this bat for my 7yr old grandson on March 28. By the middle of May it was cracked. Rawlings was great about replacing it and sent me a new bat in 7 days. After he used it for 2 more weeks 2 more cracks came in the new bat. DO NOT BUY This bat. Another player on his team had the same bat and it cracked also.

Would Be A Nice Bat For Smaller Players If It Was More Durable

I bought this bat because my son is on the smaller side for his age. The light weight bat was working well for him and he really liked it. However, after only five weeks of regular use, the bat has a crack around the middle. It would be a great bat if it was just a little more durable.

Didn’t Make It Through One Season.

I Purchased this bat last year for my son to use for this season and it cracked during batting practice. (My son is 11 and is definitely no Barry Bonds) Because the bat was purchased over a year ago, Easton wouldn’t do anything for me besides offer a small percentage off a new bat. I spend a lot of money on Easton/rawlings products and won’t do it again.

Love Easton, Horrible Service.

So disappointed with Easton, bought my son this 200 dollar bat as a gift for making All Star, he is so excited to use it for his tournaments. Bat came defected, NO POP. Coaches and parents pointed it out at the very first practice he took it to, Dicks said we must go through Easton warranty, easton wants us to ship back so they can review it and repair it, they refuse to replace it with a new one.. with the whole shipping and repair process by the time we get it back , the season will be over. called customer service to see if they can replace, or speed up process and the rep was so rude and no help Im so upset and disappointed. So quick to take $$ but cant even help.

So Far, So Good

Had to get a new bat because my son’s coach pitch league no longer uses soft core balls so his tee ball bat was out. I wanted the lightest bat possible. Didn’t care about ‘pop’ or anything else except for how quickly he could get the bat head through the zone correctly. Unfortunately the lightest model was also one of the priciest. We broke it in as well as possible as it’s our family’s first 100% composite bat and I really don’t want it to break. So far I’m thrilled with the purchase. This is his first year in coach pitch so he essentially will get two years of break in time before moving to player pitch. I didn’t care about pop but holy cow this has it. He’s wanted to hit, hit, hit since we got it. The specialty and needing to baby it daily (don’t leave in the cold garage, time to break in and why) has been a good lesson for him and we’re seeing him take care of all his things better. This bat has been a great purchase on multiple levels and I think he will be able to use it for at least 3 seasons before outgrowing it. It’s given him the confidence currently that may make that year 4 a real fun one!

Super Light Weight And Looks Cool

It's really light weight so because of that my kids swing has improved and is a bit more accurate. Great bat.
