Fun Bat That Hits Well!

I bought this for my almost 9 year old. They were out of the 29/19, so we got him a 30/20. It's a little big for him as he slightly small for his age, but after a couple of weeks of only swinging this bat, his swing is coming around. His last bat was a 28/16, so this was a big jump for him. He really enjoys the theme of the bat and couldn't wait to show it off. The pencil bat was the rage last year, but this one is getting almost the same amount of attention. It doesn't have a loud crack to it, some people ask if it's a wooden bat after a solid hit. The barrel has a good size sweet spot and the grip was the best out of all the bats we looked at in this price range. In fact, I thought he only wanted this bat because of the ice cream theme, but he insisted it was because it has great grip. Once I grabbed the bat, I agreed with him and let him get this one. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the bat.
