Great Set

My daughter loves her Jen Schro gear, It comfortable and easy to adjust. She's had a few practices and there's no restriction or lack of protection when it comes to this set.

Not Great

I bought this a year ago and it’s already broken, this is my third set of this gear and it’s always breaking after a year which it shouldn’t.

The Hype Is Legit And The Js Catching Gear Is The Real Deal

Bought this for my 10 year old daughter and immediately she could tell the difference from her previous set of gear. The chest protector fit amazing and it’s level of protection is outstanding while still being light/nimble. The face mask took sometime to adjust to but now that she put some innings into the gear she appreciates how light and sleek the helmet is truly proving to be. If your daughter is serious about learning how to catch then this set of gear will reward from day 1. Gave 4 star because the price although great quality is a bit steep considering you are marketing to 8-12 year old girls.

Pretty

I bought this 2 weeks ago and it is really good gear! I got white gear and it looks very good with my uniform. The helmet and chest guard are very comfy. The shin guards took a bit of adjusting but once I got it right they were comfy too.

Very Comfortable

My 12yo daughter started out with the Mizuno samurai to make sure she was going to stick with catching. She loves the comfort and chin positioning in the padding in the helmet. She said that was her selling point. She's 5'4" and 120lbs and fits the medium perfectly.

Leg Guard Size Is Wrong

My daughter has used this gear for years. Went to buy a new set at Dicks and checked the box and Large leg guards we subbed into intermediate/medium box. So we ordered them online and we recieved a box where the lined out the M guard with L. I need

Best Gear

We love the Jen Schro Very Best catching gear. The sizing is accurate compared to others. My daughter is 5'4, slender and this fit perfectly! She refuses to wear any other brand.

3rd Set. New Color? Might As Well Have Been Custom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my kid's 3rd set. She hates white, and finds the USA tacky. So, we've done two sets of black. She HATES change, so I almost bought the black again. Decided on the Charcoal. She was SO excited! It really is a slick color. And I don't know that we've seen another kid wear it. Totally glad I went with a different color. As for the gear, the quality has always been good. Many competitors' chest protectors are bulky! This looks fitted! No complaints on helmet or shin guards. Expensive?? Sure. But some competitors cost more for their "very best." Highly recommend.
