Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, Durable, Gripping, Minimalist Have enjoyed the Biom Hybrid 2 - went up in size from previous Ecco Shoes and the Biom Lace from a 44 to a 45. I use my feet to read greens, and having a minimalist type shoe that is comfortable is great for my game and feet. I wear these even when not playing golf. They are light, comfortable, and somewhat water resistant. Wore them during a 15 minute downpour and my feet remained dry - I'd use some type of waterproofing product on them since they only resist water, not Gore-Tex. I typically play in firm conditions, and the shoes offer a fine grip while not locking in your feet - spikes can cause knee issues, so unless the ground is extremely wet, I'm going with these - spikeless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like walking on cotton clouds! These are BY FAR the comfiest shoes I've ever owned. Put them on at home, felt the bouncy soft feel walking to the car, walked 18, had NO desire to take them off after the round. Not a mark, not a sore spot, from brand new out of the box. I have a little bit of arthritis in my fingers and it was/is a pleasant surprise these shoes are SO easy to tie, just a light tug, tie, done! Awesome, I do not know how they did that!?? On the caution side (no reason not to get them): I have / have had +10 pairs of ECCO's all in size 42, this pair is the first running a bit large, not so I could wear a 41 but close. The Concrete/Royal are not nearly as white as they look in ECCO's picture, they're concrete a.k.a. grey. And wow what a great shoe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4 year review, still comfortable! Still wearing almost weekly, I usually like to walk if I can. Have worn them for 4 years now, lost a little bit of waterproofing by now. Still very comfortable, breathable, spikes holding up very well - usually worn on course only. These shoes are worth the extra money because, they last way longer than any other golf shoe has for me ever. They don't pick up nearly as much stuff in the tread as the spike shoes did, which makes for better traction and easier to clean during golf with a tee. Clean the leather normally with mild soap & water by hand with a soft brush or sponge (sneaker - leather soap) no shoe polish. White did stain (all whites do) bought tan/orange pair for muddy - wet days. Machine washing will eventually make any golf shoe fall apart, usually dries out the glue from the sole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable shoe on the market This is my second pair of hybrids. Previous pair was a prior generation of this shoe. These are simply the most comfortable golf shoes ever made! I wear these for all rounds that have dry conditions, which includes morning dew. I've gotten these wet mant times and never had water make it past the shoe to my socks. When the course is saturated in water, I opt to wear cleated shoes, as my feet have slipped while wearing hybrids on a very wet course. I wear the G2 GTX on those days and I recently bought my second pair of those. They too are the most comfortable cleated shoe I've ever worn, just not as comfortable as the hybrid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shoes are great after 36 hole break in After reading other reviews, i did feel like the arch was in the middle of my foot but that went away quickly. My only other observation was that I expected a plush, walking in a cloud, fit and was initially disappointed but I wore them for 3 more rounds and they were very comfortable leading me to feel like a firm fit was good for my game. I feel connected to the ground and can even feel undulation in the greens which I could not get out of my shoes with replaceable spikes. I keep my shoes for a long time so this was the first time I bought a hybrid pair. Bottom line if you have the dough, I would try the hybrid route.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally talked myself into spending $194 on a pair of golf shoes. Best decision I've made in a long time! I have been contemplating buying these shoes for the last three months. I didn't want to spend nearly $200 on a pair of golf shoes, I'd rather spend my money on green fees! Today I finally pulled the trigger her because I realized that every other pair of golf shoes I have tried on this season couldn't even come close to matching the comfort and feel of Ecco's. Looking back I wish I would've purchased them at the start of the season! I love the casual look and unique color combinations. I'm already thinking about buying a second pair in a different color! Just go buy them!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Should Have Thought Better Was excited about the purchase but that didn't last long. The left shoe feels different than the right, quite a bit. The right has a hard spot between the arch and ball of the foot causing pain. I also developed a blister on the outside of the right foot after one 18-hole round. The left shoe is great but its easy to determine the right shoe was constructed differently. I should return them, but since the sole shows wear, I wouldn't want to return them and then they sell them again as mention in other reviews.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Shoe, but... I love how comfortable Ecco shoes are, but this nice looking shoe (gray) looks bad when the outer Yak leather is wet. I play early in the morning, and even when riding in a cart the shoes get very wet on the outside from walking in wet grass. My playing partners think they're not waterproof, but my feet are dry inside. They just look bad when wet.
