Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great canoe for family and dog! We bought two Emotion Wasatch Canoes in spring 2015 for family fun activities. We have never been canoeing before and found the canoes to be stable and comfortable with real seats that have backs. They track very well and are easy to paddle. We have attached eletric trolling motors and the battery fits in the back. We have done multiple fishing trips with coolers and fishing gear in the middle. We canoe in fresh water lakes, the Florida Intracoastal, and Fort. George's inlet. We use 220cm kayak pattles, which work very well. There is also room for a golden retriever in the front. Rated 4 out of 5 by from I LOVE IT!!! Tough as nails, economic, roomy, just one issue.... I bought this canoe 07/2015 and I still own it and love it!!! At 96 lbs, it is a little heavier than other canoes, but even on my own I can load it to the roof of my SUV by loading one side then sliding the rest of the boat on to the top of the vehicle, I even built a rack for my pickup with a couple of 2x4s. I can't say enough about the canoe; good price, the plastic is super tough, the rod holders are ok, looks good. The only issue is that on my first trip, the front and back seats were defective; the seats would sink in making you lean towards one side more than the other, they deflated in a way, BUT I contacted Lifetime and they sent me new seats right away as they are covered by warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME CANOE!!!! I bought this canoe basically to go fishing in. I wanted a nice flat bottom wide canoe. I was attracted to this because of the price. I got it on sale for 299.99. My pros. Flat bottom, wide, VERY STABLE, very nice quality plastic, comfortable seat backreasts that work great. A motor mount to get around fast, 2 nice handles a segg wheel, 3 seats and a lot of space for tackle rods and much more. My cons it's extremely heavy and hard to get on top of a car but if you have a pick-up truck it should be no problem. So in the end this canoe is a great canoe to go fishing or canoeing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Value I bought my Wasatch on sale for $300 two years ago and it has proven to be a great value. The photo is from Jane's Island, MD, where we spent three days looking around the canoe trails. Understand that the original seats will break with a few hours of use. My setup allows for bass boat or stadium seats depending on what I am doing. Canoe is very heavy and rugged; mine has been dropped from the roof of my car with the only damage being a dent in the car. I am 6 feet 200 lbs and I have no problem standing to fish or flycast with my wife and 100+ lbs of gear in the boat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cannot be beat for the price. Very stable. I bought this canoe because it was the cheapest one available at Dick's. I usually kayak but wanted to go out with a friend who has nothing. This was onsale for $100 off so I bought it on the spur of the moment without high expectations. At 13' it was easy to put in the back of my full size pickup. It is heavy but I knew that when I bought it. 30 seconds after launching it in the lake I fell in love with it. I believe it is more stable than the 17' aluminum canoes I have been in. It is not as fast, but I didn't buy it for racing. We caught a few fish and a warm sunny afternoon. I have taken it out 2 more times since and I am still very pleased with my purchase.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's Decent The price attracted me to this canoe, especially since there was an additional $100 off. My pros: The lift handles and wheel are nice and it floats. Now for the cons: the "rod holders" fit no rod I have ever used and the cup holders are too shallow so the drinks fall out if moving. While the wheel is nice if you are going in a straight line, if you need to make any type of turn good luck. Lastly are the seats, I was really excited about them but it did not take long to be disappointed. Any pressure applied to the seats disconnects them from the cheap plastic bottom. All in all I got what I wanted, a cheap canoe that floats so I can so some lake fishing, had my hopes been any higher I would be very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Floated 50 miles down a river and I have no huge complaints. This thing is stable, it fairly comfortable, and can hold a decent amount of gear. It doesn't track in the water the best, but that's somewhat inherent in flat bottomed canoe. Also, the seat backs tend to slip if you lean too much on them, but they're not designed to be recliners. They provide just enough support to keep your back from getting sore. Overall, it's a really good value for the $399 I paid for it.
