Rated 5 out of 5 by from ESSENTIAL! I am very new to hammock camping. However, my boyfriend who convinced me to get a hammock in the first place, uses these straps religiously, and when we decided to go camping for a few days, he said I HAD to get them. Given that my hammock came with regualr nylon straps I was a little aprehensive at spending the extra money. But, in the end I went ahead and got them. They were ESSENTIAL! Not only are they incredably easy to set up, but the extra loops allows you to attach gear with a carabiner in order to keep it off the ground. (Which was great considering we were in an area that had a lot of brush on the groud)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great performance, high price Eno's Atlas Straps make rigging a hammock an almost thoughtless process, quite literally allowing a child with no knowledge of knots or linecraft to quickly and safely hang a hammock.Eno's decision to launch the next itteration of their venerable Pro Strap using polyester webbing rather than nylon has, in my opinion, created a suspension system that is going to be hard to improve upon from the standpoint of ease of use, strength, and low maintenance. The simple elegance of the Atlas Strap suspension system is offset only by the price point ($30.00), and the fact that it's a little bulky for the gram counting, mountain hiker who's backpack space is precious. The offset is slight however, and I would reccomend the Atlas Strap suspension above all other systems for it's durability and ease of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Homeless with a Hammock I have been homeless for about a month now. To begin with, I would sleep in the backseat of the car. I am six feet tall so I have to bend at the knees in order to even IMAGINE sleeping comfortably back there. I was born and raised in Florida and that is where I live now as well. When the car is still hot on the inside from being bombarded by sunlight all day, I typically sleep on the ground and count the stars until I fall asleep.I recently acquired a full time job working 60 hours a week in which I only accept pay for 45 of those hours. Who would have figured that after getting a Bachelor's degree I would be living in a swimming pool store keeping all of the books up to date for $8.50 an hour? Anyways, to make a long story short, I'm saving every dime I make to put a roof over my head before my girlfriend gets kicked out of her house. I need to be able to give her a comfortable place to live.In the meantime, after much prayer, many tears, gallons of sweat and only a little bit of blood, I invested in the ENO Doublenest Hammock as well as the ENO Atlas straps so that I can get the best possible sleep at night so I can continue to work all day every day. I figure that I will just forgoe a bed when I finally have enough money to put a roof over my head.Digressing from the backstory and getting to the main point of this review, I am tall and I weigh between 160-180 depending on how much I eat. This hammock is incredibly comfortable.I give being homeless with a hammock 4 out of 5 stars and I give the ENO Doublenest as well as the ENO Atlas straps 5 out of 5 stars.Thank you for making my life at least a little bit more comfortable and God bless ENO.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Hammock Straps! Looked at all my local stores for hammock straps for my packable hammock and found the perfect straps at Dick's. We live in a large metropolitan area and Dick's was the only store to carry this product...saved me from having to order them online. They are great because they are a heavy duty strap with lots of loops for adjustment depending upon the distance between your trees and they are very tree friendly, but the best part is that they are packable, just like the hammock, so I can take my hammock virtually anywhere. They are very quick to set up and take down...the longest amount of time I spent was to roll them back up for storage, which took under 5 minutes. With these straps you can set up your hammock and be lounging anywhere in a matter of a couple of minutes. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much needed!! They work really well and they seem a lot easier too adjust like some of the other types of rigging systems for them I also bought them as a gift

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but not great This is my second pair of atlas straps, the first ones broke on the 3rd use. Apparently you can't swing in them, which I was almost certain you could. After about maybe a minute swinging they gave way next time I used it, and I only weigh 160. Lucky it was replaced for free. Other than the fact that's you can't swing in them at all, they're great. Easy to set up, tons of anchor points to make any distance work, and don't stretch when wet. Definitely my favorite straps so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the purchase One of my better purchases in life. Use with my eno whether I'm at home between trees or at the ballpark between columns.
