Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Ice Shack I rated the shack as a 4 star vs a 5 because I have only used it a few times and because the zippers feel tight and I am concerned they will wear prematurely or break due to how difficult it is to close the doors. I have read other reviews about this and others have stated that it gets better with usage so my observation may be more subjective than anything. The quality is above average compared to others. The shack is very easy to set up and the grommets located in the corners seem to be very adequately placed for securing it to the ice. I do plan to replace the tie down cord with some 550 cord. Although I am sure adequate for most, I feel a stronger cord is necessary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rugged shelter that's easy to set-up It's a good idea to set this shelter up before you go out on the ice. Plan on setting up in the wind. Anchors towards the wind first! Had to do this first time out in 30 MPH winds by my self on the big lake. The insulated fabric had no trouble with the wind because of the tight fit formed by the flex poles. All seams are doubled. Velcro ceiling vents and adjustable window panels help provide safe ventilation when the heater was running.I enjoyed the night out. Got plenty of cusk and a couple lakers. Thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Serves its pupose Was a bit difficult for one person to set up, you need the stakes to spread it out and hold it in a breeze. The stakes are hard to put into the ice unless you have a drill with an attachment if there was packed snow cover they might work easier. Once up it provided plenty of room for 2 anglers but would of been cramped for 3. Take down was easier than set up but it was hard to get it back into the storage bag. Overall its good and the insulation does make a difference in helping hold heat in.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good hut except for grommets I purchased this hut about 6 weeks ago. It was very easy to set up, roomy enough for my family of 3. However when we returned after our first trip on the ice, we noticed that the grommets around the base of the hut had already began to bend and loosen from the nylon strap. The stakes that go in the ice can handle the wind, and kept the hut sturdy, we were disappointed in the quality of the grommets though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great shelter and easy to transport really enjoy my quickfish 3i. it fits nicely on my sled and I have no problem pulling it. It sets up quickly and easily, with lots of interior room. I enjoy the extra height as I am 6' 3" and need to stand up and stretch once in a while. I also like the fact of being insulated as it eliminates interior sweating when using a heater. Great shelter at an affordable price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Affordable, durable easy to use The shelter is very quick to set up and take down and was priced very well. She holds very sturdy in the Wind if you set her up correctly... I bought two extra ice spikes so that I can anchor all four walls down as well as all four corners. Also the insulation keeps you warm and the black roof absorbs a lot of heat from the Sun which you can feel inside

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Manageable Size and Weight. Super easy to set-up! I bought this shelter in December 2017 to go fishing on a "secret" lake that is only accessible via foot. This shelter is exactly what I needed. It is is manageable in terms of size and weight, can be carried as a backpack, and can be assembled and disassembled in less than a minute. The insulated fabric keeps the shelter warm and frost free.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great tent, inferior fiberglass poles. Love the tent itself. Great material, well insulated. The problem is with the fiberglass support poles. The fourth time out one of the fiberglass poles broke. Don't quite know what to do. Don't know if they can be replaced easily. Tent is useless with a broken support pole. Have not tried to contact Eskimo yet. Very frustrated with the product.
