Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not durable at all I bought this in December and the first time I took it out and extended the frame bars on the front the locking mechanism broke. Pins and springs fell out on the ice and some parts stayed in the frame tubing and are rattling around in it and it no longer locks into position. I used it two more times and a 20 mph wind will blow the sled over unless you are sitting in the seats. Yesterday I was extending the frame and the locking latch on the other side of the front of the frame broke just like the first one. I gathered up all the pieces and put it back together and it is very cheaply built. The pins that hold the parts in are too small for the holes and they drop through, that's why they fall apart. This thing is less than a month old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eskimo Sierra Thermal, 2 Person Absolutely love this shelter. The aluminum poles and latches were the biggest selling point for me. Robust and super easy to use, even with gloves on. The rope provided for pulling the sled is the only weak point, but most will install a hitch to pull behind a snow machine or ATV. The rope is rather short and is attached to the sled using a knot and can pull through the holes if not careful. I installed some stainless eye bolts and fender washers, and use a pulling harness instead of the rope. Would definitely buy again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really nice, but not perfect I bought this based on the online reviews. While everything was pretty much what I expected. There were a few things to be desired of. First, One of the frame extension snap buttons stopped working after a couple of times out. After I took it apart, I found out the internal spring was damaged due to poor installation and plunger holes between the aluminum tubing and plastic sleeve did not line up either. I had to re-drill and enlarge the hole in the aluminum tubing to make it work. Long story short, I was able to fix it instead of returning the product. Secondly, I wish they had put in a few more pockets or loop straps inside so there were more places to put things or hang things. But overall, this is a pretty good fishing shanty for what it was designed to do.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice and warm shack This shack is very warm. Ive had it on lake of the woods in -12 with winds of 35 mph. The seat system is nice that you can flip them over but the style kind of gets in the way because the seat poles rest in the bottom of the sled so you are ki d of limited on what you can put in your sled. The Velcro strap that attaches to the frame to hold the tent on tore while putting the house together. It is a nice house but has its issues. I fish in mine by myself so it's a great one man for the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from convenient but lacking quality for the price before first use locking mechanism on one of the poles fell apart. seam popped in a corner where velcro was attached. setting up for second use different locking mechanism full apart in transit. needs a way to screw it down to the ice nearly blew off the lake. i will add grommet holes to mine. love the easy and speed that it sets up but the locking mechanisms for the poles are very cheaply made pins do not stay in and they fall apart.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good shelter For the money I believe it’s a good shelter. Very warm and plenty of room for two people and gear. However I believe the quick releases on the poles could be made much better. I had a problem with one during the installation. I had to take it apart a couple times and was finally able to get it back to working the way it is supposed to. When extending the poles and retracting them I would not get too rammy with them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality House I've used this a handful of times now and am happy with the quality. I have fished in -20 wind chills and it kept me plenty warm with a big buddy heater on medium. The wind block is a nice feature as well as the bigger push buttons to slide the rods together when collapsing the fish house. Fits 2 grown men comfortably and doesn't take up too much space when packing up. Overall very satisfied with the pruchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good sled house for me I've had the chance to get my house out a few times. It's easy to use if you're out Solo or with a buddy. The sled is long enough for my auger to sit under the chairs and gear behind The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the sled is a little shallow and might not be able to take the constant abuse if you were to pull it behind an ATV or snowmobile.
