Rated 5 out of 5 by from Estwing log splitter is TOUGH This handled log splitter is one tough device. made from all cast steel with runner Estwing handle it is easy to use & size allows it to be stored almost anywhere. The only bad thing is the cost, it was $15.00 cheaper at Home Depot, but they didn't have this item in stock on the shelves when I went looking for it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A bit heavy and somewhat soft Nice piece of equipment, though I think a 3-pound unit would be more useful than this four-pounder. Also, the steel seems somewhat soft. After one trip with some overzealous cub scouts, mine is already showing nicks and wear.
