Excellent Belt For A Weekend Warrior

I purchased the ETHOS MAxus 10mm leather belt for my 1,000lb club quest and have been extremely impressed. Well built and comfortable, the belt has improved my lifting considerably over the last month. I had never used a belt before but I can really feel the difference on the squat and deadlift.

After browsing many much more feature-rich belts, I came across this no-frills model that looked just like the one that I've seen in every serious gym ever. When I saw that it was also significantly cheaper in the others, buying it was a no-brainer. Do the measurement as described, and order by the numbers! It very likely will not match your pants size! I've been using the belt for a month, and I'm very happy with it. It is stiff, as others have mentioned, so it takes a bit of practice to get it on, but it feels very supportive in use.

Nice Belt, Needs Some Time To Break In

This is a nice belt but a bit stiff making it hard to buckle and buckle. Hopefully that will get better with some more use as the description does say it may need break in time. It also seems to run a bit small but does have lots of holes for adjustment. I like that it’s made of leather and feels to be high quality.

Durable Weight Belt

Flexible and durable material , however, extremely small for a medium. Would definitely purchase a size larger, as I could barely fit in the first hole. Runs smaller for a weight belt compared to ones I’ve had in the past.

A Bit Stiff

It was as kind of small even though I ordered a size large. Also the belt was very stiff and difficult to close and put through the buckle. I hope that with often wear the material with softer and mold to the body instead of being stiff.

Ethos Maxus 10mm Leather Lifting Belt

The Ethos Maxus 10mm lifting belt is a full leather, double suede, 4" wide, powerlifting style belt, with a single prong and 1" hole spacing. The fit, finish, stitching and design are all excellent. However, compared to other premium powerlifting belts, this belt is ultra stiff and will require some break-in time. If it weren't so stiff out of the box, I'd have given this belt 5 stars. Some users may like a stiff belt and if that were this case this could be an excellent choice for them.

Great Fit And Solid Support

My 6'5" multi-sport athletic son uses this belt. According to him, the belt offers good core support for lifting free weights. The buckle is not easy to fasten but okay. Once on the belt remains in place during entire workout. He is hoping it will help him with lifting longer for GAINS!
