Rated 5 out of 5 by ShaneC from Excellent Rack!! I finally decided to purchase this rack after extensive research and reviews of all the other brands out there, and if you compare apples to apples this rack simply cant be beat. See for yourself and build the same package as this rack for the for the same price. It also has the same gauge steel as other top brands. The monkey bar is has perfect knurl and doesnt come as a standard feature on most racks and can run you as much as $200+ as an upgrade, not to mention the Spotter Arms can cost well over $100 as well, if its even and option! this rack will handle anything you throw at it. Don't get sucked into paying for a name, instead take the money you saved and get yourself a nice bar and some nice plates!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Steve J from Quality construction I've been using my ETHOS Power Rack 1.0 for more than 3 months, and I've been extremely satisfied. I haven't bothered to bolt mine down, because I'm not doing massive amounts of weights yet, but just the weight of the power rack itself is enough to keep it very stable, even when doing pull-ups. I plan on using it for years to come. Much better than the inconvenience of having to go to a gym multiple times per week to do bench press and squats safely. My only criticism is that I wish the large holes in the posts were spaced a little closer together, for a finer degree of adjustment. I still give it 5 stars though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Triumphdave from SOLID UNIT!!! WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! I bought this in store yesterday. After bringing it home I unpacked all the boxes and everything was packaged very well! Instructions were very easy to follow and took about an hour to assemble by myself. I also purchased the Ethos 205lb Olympic Rubber Bumper Plate Set with 2 extra 45lb and 10lb weights. I also bought the Ethos Utility Weight Bench which was very well made and sturdy. Overall this rack is solid and was worth every penny!! Tip: only hand tighten everything until the instructions say to wrench everything down. Also when you start tightening everything down start from the top and work your way down. Then josle it around and tighten again from the bottom up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mikey785 from Underrated Power Rack! I debated for a while whether to pull the trigger on this rack, or order from Rogue. Although I do wish that this rack had one inch spacing through the bench zone rather than 2 inches, the addition of pipe safeties, spotter arms, and a monkey bar makes it an outstanding value! Assembly took about 2 hours, and will require at least two adults to accomplish. One word of warning; do NOT the bolts until the rack is fully assembled! I can't stress this enough. It will make your life much, much easier. I spent a fair amount of time loosening bolts to get holes to line up. I should have read those directions a little more closely, lol. Once fully assembled, the rack is rock solid! I will be constructing a lifting platform that it will eventually be bolted onto, but for now, four 60lb sandbags are providing a significant amount of stability. I have 305 lbs including the bar, and it handles the weight with ease. I also looked at the Ethos 5.0 rack, mainly because there is more room in the cage, and it has integrated weight pads to provide stability without bolting it down. However, the safety is a strap system rather than pin and pipe, and there are no spotter arms that I am aware of. I think the 1.0 is truly the better buy. I spent a pretty decent amount of time exploring my options for a rack, and quite honestly didn't expect Dick's to come through with a quality product. I was happily mistaken! But this rack with confidence, it won't let you down.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Cnguyen from Disappointed I bought this Ethos Power Rack about a month ago. I ordered it online and picked it up at the store. Everything was solid and seemed great coming out of the box until I was almost done installing it. I noticed I was missing two bolts and four washers. I emailed the company which then told me to call the store because it was probably faster getting my missing parts. After getting my missing parts and finally finished putting everything together, I noticed that one of my safety spotter arms does not go far enough back for me to secure it with the pin. Then my spring collar broke after using it for the first time. I didn't want to call the store again or tear down the whole thing and return it, I guess I'll chalk it up as a loss.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nichols33 from As good as rogue!! As good as rogue!! More bang for the buck!! As a strongman competitor, I've really shook this rack around and it's SOLID!! I've been looking at racks for roughly 5 months and I'm glad I picked this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ShortBoys from Overall Very Solid This was a gift for my 3 boys. They are 15, 13 and 10. They have begun to take an interest in fitness and I wanted something that they can grow into using in the upcoming years. This is an ideal piece of equipment for that purpose. I purchased the Ethos Olympic rubber plate set as well. Outside of DSG, I purchased the dip bar attachment from Rougue and wallmount plate holders through PRX.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Derk from Excellent rack! Ive had this rack about a year now and it is solid as can be desired. Very comparable to large name brands in quality but much better in price. It may be a little bit light for some so I would recommend anchoring the feet down or securing it in some other way to keep it from moving when racking a loaded bar. I also got the ethos bench, bar, and bumper plates. No complaints on any of them. Great center piece to my garage gym. If youre worried about the lack of accessories from Ethos, dont be. Any accessory made for 3x3 upright with 1" pin holes will work. You can get accessories on amazon, rogue, titan or any other. However, as youll see in the pics, the pin holes are smaller towards the top so be aware of what accessory you are buying and how high you want it to be.
