Poor Design

Bought this. Rack only holds two sets of weights. The design could have been about three to four inches longer and could have put at least 3 sets of dumbbells. Also- the way the racks are it makes it awkward and hard to get the weights on and off. The solid top rack blocks the view of seeing where the placement should land when re racking them so with larger weights 50 plus makes it hard to land them back on the rack properly. Would be nice if the shelves leaned towards the front versus flat. Sturdy rack. Just poor designs really quantity of dumb bells and ease of use. I’ll probably look for different options and buy something different

Great Rack

Purchased for a gym setting. Not much to say other than it is a great rack! Very sturdy to hold the heavier weights without any worry.

Really Sturdy. Versatile.

Built very well. The supports all have holes like a rack. Possibly could be a landmine and battle rope attached. Maybe more. Top shelf is perfect for 5-30 kettlebells. The shelves probably hold 5-40 dumbbells. Only issue I have is with shipping. One of the dumbbell shelfs arrived with a dent in it. It’s rights where the has to be tightened so I only have 3 of 4 bolts in. Customer service is supposed to be sending a replacement. Said it would take a month 6 weeks ago so IDK. I’m left to take a hammer to it but I shouldn’t have to. Yes I would recommend it to a friend if picked up in store and inspected before leaving.

Poor Service

I bought this product online, spoke with customer service three times because it had not been been delivered 3 weeks later. The solution was proposed by customer service was to cancel the order. Would not recommend purchasing anything from Dick's.

There Are Better Ways To Spend $200

This is so far from being a premium product. Just opening it right out of the box, just about every part had chipped off paint or scuffs in some manner, with a few pieces showing signs of surface rust, and the bolt pack appearing to have been ripped open and taped back shut. The thin paint that is left scratches easily just from shifting parts around during assembly. There’s no listed thickness, but this steel bends under the pressure of tightening the bolts for the unit to be sturdy enough to handle your weights. Overall it just feels very cheap and entry-level. $200 is just too steep for this level of quality, and I chose to return it in less than a day. It could work for you, but everything about it says it won’t last long. Downgrade to the fixed-position Fitness Gear version of this to save some cash or try to save up more and find something legitimately premium, with heavier duty steel and more versatile, modular shelving. I will say I was able to load 190 lbs of bumper plates and roughly ~75lbs of dumbbells and gear of the shelves and it seemed to handle that well enough. The order and height of the shelves is also adjustable. If you’re still into it, Dick’s shares almost no detailed product info, so here’s what I measured (rough estimates considering this is imported and exact measurements would be in mm): Width w/o plate pegs: 40 in Upright Depth, not including feet: 8.5 in Upright dimensions: 2x2 in Upright Hole spacing: 2.25 in Plate peg length: 8 in. Distance between plate pegs: 17.25 in Inside Length of shelf: 35 in (bolts take up about .5 in on each side) Inside depth of shelf: 7.75 in. Inside Length of DB rails: 35 in Distance between dumbbell rails: 4.5 in (if you flip them upside down, you get about 7.75 in of space)
