Rated 5 out of 5 by from outstanding tent I fit a queen air bed in it. Had to be careful that air bed did not touch sides. Perfect for one person who loves lots of room to spread out and be comfortable. I put a tarp over and under floor. Bottom tarp oversized to provide large porch. On 3 cold nights under 48 degrees I was able to zip everything up and the interior was warmer than previous tents. It rained twice with good results. Slight dampness where wind pushed sidewall into mattress. Tent very easy to put up, love the big windows' ventilation. I'm 5'7" and put canopy on easily. This is finally the tent I've been waiting for. To have more wiggle room I might consider using a twin air bed next season.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed We used to love this tent. We've had it about 2 years now and have loved the ease with which it can be put up in 10 minutes. The almost vertical walls make it very roomy. The large windows on all 4 sides make it very airy and being able to stand erect is wonderful. However, the zipper broke within about a year. We've tried a repair, and have been extremely careful with the zipper to no avail. No zipper makes the tent useless. This is the 2nd Eureka tent we've had in the last 5 years and both of them had zippers break long before they should. It's not like they're used every day. We go camping 6 to 8 times a year. They're not cheap and should last a lot longer than they do. I will never buy another Eureka tent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4 person tent This is reply to a couple of other reviewers....I have owned several Eureka! tents over my lifetime, probably for the last 30 or so years. From 2 person Timberline tents to big cabin family tents.I have had zippers wear out and fail. All it took was a call to Eureka! to make arrangements to ship the item back, they either repaired it at no charge or charged me $10 for a zipper replacement. In terms of the stated size, this is a 4 person tent. It means 4 people sleeping on the floor of the tent directly side by side. If you put a queen size mattress in the tent, you can only sleep the number of people you can fit on the mattress. Tents have always been sized this way.I hope you enjoy your Copper Canyon as much as I am.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did what it was suppose to do Recommended by a relative and lived up to their hype. Quick delivery, took me 20minutes to setup myself. Sealed seams and made my own footprint. Have camped in several Rain storms, some severe with heavy winds with no leaks. Recommend getting better stakes though as the standard ones although held came loose and had to be restaked. Slept 4comforable with lots of baggage and king blowup mattress. Only have it several months, will Have to see how it holds up over time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than standing height, four window view, and a small base footprint. I have five tents, each with their purpose, and I purchased this one for camping comfort in moderate weather. Your getting four window view, smart for security, venting, or just to enjoy the scenery in all directions. The height of the tent with its screen meshed top allows you to sky gaze with privacy with the rain fly pulled back. I myself just attach the rain fly on the back poles in a folded drape, so I can easily and quickly pull in up and over to the front if I feel it is needed. This tents size is 8'X8' pole to pole, but internally the floor base footprint is 7 ½' X 7 ½' foot, not 8'. Not an issue for me, along with knowing all tent manufactures exaggerate tent people capacities, at least for comfortable use, so measure your equipment to the space. This tents pole and assembly system is solid and simple, and it goes up fast. You really only need to stake out the four corners and only use the additional four stake out guide lines if you expecting winds. Of course with this tents size and shape you wouldn't expect it to handle high storm situations, which is why I always bring along a smaller back up tent designed for harsh weather. This tent is designed for spacial comfort and I wish I found it earlier. The construction of the one I purchased was flawless and it has smart features designed in. If I could change anything on this tent, it would only be for more subdued fabric colors to blend into the environment. Also an accessory shade drape clip on attachment for the front of this tall tent would have been a nice extra. All in all, I really like this Eureka! Copper Canyon 4 tent just as it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent We have had this tent for 5 years now, and it has gone through several wind and rain storms at the beach and in the desert. Easy to set up by myself, fits my family of 5 with room for everyone's stuff, waterproof, sturdy in wind. I appreciate that it comes with a reasonably sized sack to put the tent in, you don't have to be a manufacturing robot to get the thing back in there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent tent Just got done with an 8 day camp in Indiana. Tent is a very easy setup and the vertical walls with the tall Ceilling height make it extremely spacious. The only down side for me, is the tent is a bit breezy on a cold windy fall night. The wind seems to come in on the top side of the windows as they do not zip. The are held with toggles. Other than that it’s a fantastic tent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comparison: Old vs. New, Copper Canyon 10 x 10 The newer version (called "6") is quicker & easier to put up. The tent is not as heavy as the older version. However, by using lighter-weight materials, such as the aluminum eye-pins that insert into the bottom of the side poles of the cabin tent, it is more fragile. The aluminum parts bent during set-up, which does not bode well for a high-winds situation. We have not tried it in heavy rain, so cannot speak to dryness. The factory seals seem to be heavier and applied better than the older version. I would only recommend this product for an experienced camper, as a novice may not be able to be so careful during setup.
