Rated 2 out of 5 by from HD 5 I used to have an older model of the Sunrise 6, an awesome tent. Unfortunately they dont have stock of them anywhere and ours has seen better days. The new Sunrise 6 just doesnt look on-par with the old one so we went with the Tetragon HD 5, a bit smaller. Gotta say, they materials, zippers, flaps, even the design, are sub par compared to our old Sunrise 6. Everything is just cheaper. This tent is also a pain to set up and take down bc there are not channels for the poles, only clips. Not sure if the Sunrise would have been better or not, but they really cut out the windows on the new model....Cheap is....cheap I guess..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Same great Eureka standard of quality I had a Eureka tent many years ago and it was superior in every way. It held up to countless Grand Canyon River expeditions. I never even had to seal the seams. It kept me dry throughout numerous downpours. When my rafting days were over I finally got rid of that tent. Now with grandkids I feel the need to get back out to nature. I spent many hours shopping brick and mortar stores for a tent of comparable quality, which didn't cost a fortune, but with no success. Then I went online straight to the Eureka website and found exactly what met my needs and my expectations. When it arrived quickly after placing my order, I was well pleased. It puts together a bit different than what I was used to, but still it assembles easily and quickly. Thank you Eureka.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stood up to some Extreme weather My husband and I are seasoned car campers and we have used Eureka! tents for many years. We needed a new tent this year for the summer and this was our choice. We wanted something that would be cooler than our other brand 4 season tent. Little did we know that the weather was going to be crazy. On our first trip we had torrential rain (4 inches in 3 hours) and 30 mile and hour winds. We were camped in a primitive campsite with one side to the lake and the door to the east. The winds were coming in strongest off the lake. The tent held up solid. There were a few issues though, The side caved in a bit because the wind came in under the fly and pushed on the side of the tent. Another pole or better design might have prevented this. Perhaps lower fly would have helped to prevented this. The other issue we had on that trip was because of the rain. The amount of the rain and the wind caused the rain to come in through the zipper on the door. We put a towel down in front of the door and everything else stayed dry. There was one spot on the top of the fly that also leaked. After the trip we put sealer on the spot (where one of the Velcro attachments were for pole attachment). Once the wind died down the tent resumed its original shape. On our second trip we again had rain and high speed winds. This time the rain was not torrential. No leaks. We did have the same issue with the tent caving in a bit on the side to the wind. Our tent was dry where some of the other campers in the area had issues with wet gear. We would highly recommend this tent for the price. We also recommend that Eureka consider making the fly lower and increasing the fly over the door so it hangs out over the door a little further so rain doesn't drip onto the door in heavy rain. Also consider another way to strengthen the sides a guy line tie or another pole? (again we were in extreme and sudden and unexpected conditions). In both cases all the guy lines were tied down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Great tent series I have been a member of the "Tetragon family " for a while now and it was time to replace my old friend from a bunch of years ago. This NEW Tetragon 5 is going to take my little family to the great outdoors in California this summer. Thank you well done!
