Should be advertised as a kickboxing bag. It's way too hard on the knuckles to be consistently used for boxing. Even with bag gloves and gel knuckle padding, this one is painful if you're a heavy hitter. Upgraded to a Nevatear 100lb bag and I can hit that one bare knuckled.
