We have been using Evoshield Racerback Children/Womens heart guards for around 9 years now. Due to growing bodies, we always had to replace the shield every 2-4 months. My younger sister (16) had to stop wearing the racerback guard because of it not sitting on her chest correctly. We decided to bite the bullet and try this guard around 3 months ago due to her playing premier softball. The guard actually stays up on her chest and doesn't rub on her arm as she pitches. Last week while pitching, she took a straight line drive to the chest. If it wasn't for the heart guard, we probably would still be in the hospital. I 100% recommend this for any player that plays any caliber of ball. Yes it is pricier than the other guards that are offered, but it allowed her to walk off the field without a bruise. I just wish there was a option that covered the complete chest rather than just the left side of the body. I am very grateful that we found this product and would gladly recommend this to any player.
