So we splurged and got the newer model, and my son loves the new pads and feel, so it was worth the extra cost!

Heavy Helmet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The daughter loves the helmet. The vision is okay but that is due to her being a little small and we adjusted the pads to help with that. A little heavy. Would be nice to make same kind of helmet but out of carbonfiber so it would be lighter.

Evo Pro Szn 2.0 Catchers Helmet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd evo catchers helmet I’ve owned and not because the break because I out grow them. I won’t wear any other brand. The ventilation and visibility out of these masks is 2nd to none. It’s comfortable in the summer and the airflow padding offers the protection that I need for those foul tips to the dome….if I could give them 6 starts I would. My little brother wears the intermediate equipment and loves it as well 5/5 stars would reccommend

Do Not Purchase. Not Safe
My son plays NCAA baseball and has gone through 3 of these helmets because of cracking. First 2(didn’t even last one season)were covered under warranty and after that was told they will not warranty anymore. Third one lasted 4 months before cracking. If they crack this easily I wouldn’t trust them for safety. All three didn’t last 1 year and 2 months. Extremely disappointed

Had this helmet maybe 3 months little use screw that hold the straps come out notice several kids with a top strap loose sale issue

Great Mask
My son (HS Freshman) tried another catchers gear manufacturer's premier mask, and found it to be too bulky/heavy, and hurt his head. Said the Pro-SRZ is much more comfortable, lighter and had better visibility.

Not Sure Of The Safety
My 17 y/o sons helmet was 4 months old when he took a foul ball to the upper portion of the helmet. The helmet split/cracked & he has a knot on his forehead, a headache & we believe a concussion. I believe the helmet is under warranty, but the quality or safety is questionable

Lightweight And Solid
we bought this helmet 3 months ago. My daughter loves it, She took hard foul ball right off the front of helmet, and she barely felt it! Very safe helmet!
