    Not Recommended - Hurts

This does not have good instructions for forming it. It gets really hard and was so difficult to take off the thumb that we almost went to urgent care to saw it off. And it hurt the thumb. Do not recommend.

    Thumb Guard

Ended up having to buy a second one cause the first one didn’t mold properly. Tried to put in hot water to re form and wouldn’t work.

    Great Reinforcement For Your Thumb

Catch a lot of pitchers that can spin the ball. This limits how far your thumb bends and is a great fallback when you don’t catch the ball clean

Difficult To Mold So That Is Effective

My son needs a thumb guard as a catcher for baseball. I've tried these a couple of times now and just can't seem to get it right. It seems like it could be a great product unfortunately is a waste of money if you don't get ot rightin the 1st try.

This worked well for my son. He feels it protects his thumb and has more confidence.

    Good

Bought for my HS catcher. We followed the link and watched a quick video on how to make the mold, very easy and simple. It does take some time for the mold to dry. My catcher says it helps but bulky.

Easy to mold and great fit. Perfect for any catcher

    Custom Fit

My son has been using these for 4 years. Great product! does exactly what it's intended to do. He has not gotten "thumbed" since he started using it. It's not a pad. It's a brace to keep your thumb from getting bent back. Never had any problems with it not fitting inside a catchers mitt.
