Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Kayak! I bought this Kayak about 6 months ago. It was my first Kayak. I floated many times on the Buffalo River in North Arkansas. This Kayak is very comfortable and tracks excellant in the water. From shallow water to fast current the Kayak is great. Plus it can handle up to 500 lbs. Great Kayak. You won’t be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile Bought early spring and have been out about 15 times this year. Not a fisherman but bought for the capacity. Very stable and forgiving. Haven't done an overnighter yet but test fitted what it would take. All good for kayak/camping in my opinion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First kayak, test drive was yesterday I am a big guy 240#, 5'11". At first I felt a little wobbly, after 5 min I was fine. There was a light wind which really did not effect the kayak going in the direction I wanted to, fast no, steady yes. We purchased cheap foam kayak seat mats? that helped keep the ride comfortable. I should have adjusted the back of the seat to start, I moved it to full incline and was comfortable. I should have also set the foot pegs on land, didn't so my legs where stretched straight out the whole ride, not bad though. I wish there was a rod holder in front, i can't even imagine how i would get the rods out behind me. As a fishing kayak, I'm not so sure about that. My other wish would be for a bigger cockpit, kinda cramped. So far I am happy with the purchase. Would I recommend to another newbie, yes. PS I think I should have gotten a longer paddle, so much research on the kayak, nill on the paddle. My bad.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice boat for the price! I bought the boat because I have a sit on top which is wider and heavier, and therefore a little slower than the girl I go kayaking with(who also has a sit in[purchased at the same store]) Also, I wanted both types. When I went to use it, 1 of the foot pegs was broken. About 5 minutes out, the 2nd one broke. So rather than go through the hassle of bringing it back, having charge backs and all that nonsense, I went to a local kayak shop and bought a higher quality set of foot pegs and installed them myself. I have used it twice since and am quite happy with the boat. FYI, the new foot pegs were $35 if you would like to reimburse me. Some how I don't see that happening, so I'm not holding my breath!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value for a high volume kayak This is a good economical kayak for larger paddlers. It is not a fast kayak. If you have paddling buddies with more expensive touring kayaks, they will leave you in their wakes without trying. The is not a good boat for rough waters since it doesn't have sealed bulkheads for flotation in case it flips or takes on water. It is a stable boat with the highest weight capacity that I have seen in this type of boat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Paddling round the Finger Lakes This was purchased on July 15 2017. There two fishing poles holders which work great, one for trolling and the other to cast as I float and paddle around. Pleanty of room for fishing tackle in the front area where items can be secured, or I sometimes remove the water proof holder in the back and strap my tackle in that area. There is also room for some items in the body compartment, as I often keep a small tackle item or two there for easy access. With the floor pegs being adjustable, I am comfortable in the seat sitting upright. I have no need for additional seat cushions and my back does not hurt after paddling. At 12', it track well to get around. I like the rope handles to carry it to and from the vehicle to get water access. Paddles strap on the kayak along with all my gear when I take it to the water. I do not generally use the water tight compartment for anything. I like that it can be removed and that's where I keep other things, cooler and fishing tackle. If you don't fish, it would be excellent for anything you wanted to be sure and keep dry. I don't get wet while paddling, maybe a couple drops of water when I paddle really hard to get going fast, but the water from paddles is not an issue. Waves and splashing does not enter the boat. Wakes from boats are also NOT an issue ever. I am sure this kayak will out last my use of it, as there are no issues or concerns with this craft. You will not be disappointed.
