Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great climbing sticks for the price The sticks were extremely strong and stable when strapped onto a tree. It held my buddy and I simultaneously with no issues; we both are roughly 5'10" 220lbs each. Transporting the sticks through the woods weren't a huge issue, but does pose a problem if you don't have them strapped tightly to your 4-wheeler or if you're carrying by hand. The biggest issue with them is that you are limited to the size of the tree that you can strap it to. I wish the straps would've been a bit longer, but you can buy longer straps if you plan to hunt on bigger trees.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was skeptical... ... but bought a second one after I tried out the first. As a climbing aid for a hang-on stand, these are sturdy and easy to assemble. (Please read the instructions and, unlike some, put the straps on before you hoist it up to the tree.... yipes...). My one concern was stacking these and packing them in with my stand to set up. Given their form the stacking isn't ideal and they are a bit heavy but tying them together and securing them to my stand with ratchet straps worked well and the whole set up feels reasonable on my back.... and only will carry in and set up once at beginning of season...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sticks I love climbing sticks. Prior to this year, I've always used the screw in steps. The ease of hanging a stand with climbing sticks makes it worth the money. I own three other sets. The only drawback to the field and stream set, is that they do not have plastic caps at the end of each step as my Ameristep sets do. I was at Dick's Sporting Goods and purchased a hang on stand, and thought why go to Walmart I am already here for the same price I can get the Field & Stream. I leave my gear up year round. I hope that wasn't too much of water doesn't settle in the steps as they are slanted. Like I said, the Ameristep has blue plastic caps at the end of each step. Other than that, love them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice ladder, but not what I was expecting Maybe I should have done more research, but I wanted steps that could be easily transported...these cannot. They're heavy and there's no good way of strapping them together to carry. They assemble from the top, so there's no good way of taking a couple sections out and leaving upper sections in the tree until next time (to deter theft). The straps are not very long and I don't like the cinch-type straps. I prefer ratchets. That said, they're easy to install and feel stable on the tree. I was able to put the ladder together going up and take it apart going down. This really should be called a climbing LADDER and not climbing STICKS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value I am getting a lil older and screw in steps just aren't doing it anymore. I purchased 3 sets of climbing sticks.Put them up what a world of difference like climbing a set of stairs. So much safer.I ll be able to tree stand hunt another 10 years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than turning pegs Picked a set up this year for bow season. These sticks make putting up that stand were u can't get any other stand into. These stick go together very simple and with in minutes. They will take a quick 30minutes or so to put together before taking to the woods. Could use longer straps but still gets the job done . Bang for the BUCK

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use I bought these to compliment a F&S hang-on stand. Easy to assemble and use. I have several climbing stands but I think I am now sold on hang-ons because there is no noise getting up/down them in the morning or evening. You can also use a hang-on and these steps in more locations since branches aren't an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stable & rigid Had a buck that kept skirting my ladder stand, bought the 20’ climbing stick & put it up 60 yards away to a hang on stand & they worked great!
