Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thin diameter, smooth and strong I have been utilizing the 10 lb test line for almost 2 years now on my spinning tackle. The diameter is thinner and smoother than Power pro, which used to be my favorite for spinning gear. People complain about line breaking at knot, however due to the thin diameter and strength I believe the line is actually slipping through the hook opening. I utilize a short (12 to 18")12 lb fluorocarbon leader most of the time and have never had any issues with premature breakage and I have landed several 28" red drum on the 10 lb test while speckle trout fishing. If you try on a spinning reel be prepared for it to cast farther than what you maybe used to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peace of mind... I am using braid regularly around the year. I have tried all most all brand, and finally I think it is best among all brand. Most braid lies goes bad after 2/3 months due to rubbing in the pier pilling. But this one, working fine ever after an year. So far, I have found only 1 bad side of it, is the color. It comes only in olive green, but I like to fish with Bright color lines like yellow/lime green/Orange, so that I can disguise my line from far distance during Pire Jigging.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE! Just as the other people have posted here, this is a horrible product. Line just keeps breaking not only on hook-ups and casts, but I had it break walking to the dock with the weight of a rubber worm on it! A spool of thread from your mom's sewing machine would work better than this junk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst braid in fishing history My brother was taking some practice casts in my yard and broke off on 3 casts. No tangles or knots. Took a look at the line on the spool and was frayed horribly. DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS ANGLER!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good price I bought this item because it was on clearance. I understand why it was. This braid was horrible. I had it break several times on fish. This is 30 # braid and should not break on the size fish that I was catching. The casting ability of this braid is horrible to say the least. Not every cast but at least 1 out of 4 casts looped up on the spool. Very disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super thin and super quiet to cast. There is just about zero drag from line when casting. I bought this for this season's fishing. The only caution I will give is that the line will slip the knot after a bit of use. I think it is due to being so thin. On my Iron Silk line, I typically wrap 6 times around the line for my knot but with the Field and Stream 10lb, I do 9-10 wraps. This line casts about 20 yards further than my 10lb Iron Silk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for beginners I purchased a 150 foot roll of 30# line 3 seasons ago. The line is still on my bait caster still casts smooth as silk.still strong and have no issues with it other than one color. I've caught hundreds of fish using this line on spinning and bait casting setups and never had it snap or fail in anyway. If your just an average fisherman like me and don't want to break the bank and want to try braid before committing to a more expensive brand I would recomend this to anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Constantly breaking at the knot. I've had more breakoffs in 2 months with this 15lb braid than I have in the past 3 years with mono or nanofil. Could just be a bad batch but good lord every time I go to my local ponds I expect atleast 2 breaks... I generally tie a palomar or double palomar (considered the best knots for braid), and the knot isnt slipping, it's breaking off at or near the knot. Would not recommend Field & Stream brand line to anyone, stick with suffix or something..
