Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Kayak! Comfortable for longer trip I've had my Eagle Run 12 for about 6 years (maybe longer . . . trying to remember exactly . . . when Dick's had it in red) and I love it. I own two other kayaks, but this one allows more space for your feet, the seat is comfortable, it's extremely stable and has room for all the gear you need. I highly recommend this kayak!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Eagle Run Kayak I purchased this to use for fishing, it states that the capacity is 500 lbs which is not the case. I am 6’ 250 and the yak sat below the seam when paddling. Lots of drag, not very stable especially when maneuvering to grab your fishing rod from the rear holders. I sold mine after 3 uses and purchased the Old Town Predator 13 sit on top kayak. This kayak is more money but is everything it is advertised. The Eagle Run May be best suited for smaller paddlers. Also there is not accessories track on this yak. If you purchase it for fishing I suggest you install some and get a yak attack pole mount.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Lumbering Giant... My experience so for with this rig is that it is well designed for the task: Casual flat water fishing and paddling about. It is quite heavy. It tracks well, but is very slow and lumbering. I was surprised at how comfortable the seat is (for my rear, anyhow) after sitting in it for 6 long hours and rowing almost constantly, my body felt great and my behind didn't hurt one bit! (5'11" / 210 lbs.) and, with a wide open cockpit, it feels more like a canoe then a kayak.. It won't win races, but I do recommend it for fishing and casual fun on flat water.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent kayak Just bought kayak about 2 weeks ago. Still early in season so I’ve only had it out twice. Bought it to upgrade from my first kayak & to fish out of. I’ve found that in open water it tracks straight but seems to have a good bit of drag and is a little less steady then I had hoped for. Overall it has a lot of storage & is well made. Not a bad kayak for the price.
