Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lovingly owned this boat for 7 years and today it sunk :( Picked one up in 2011. Been on some great adventures but today those ended with a 8" crack in the hull. Went to the lake with my wife in her bottom shelf kayak also bought in 2011. It was sitting in the water as I parked the truck. Came back to it and found a little water in the bottom. Thought it odd but I had been standing in the water. Figured it was off my flips/legs. Paddled around maybe a minute before realising there was more and more water. Back to the boat ramp. Pulled the plug. Dumped it. While dumping saw the crack with the sub behind the boat. Im very sad and very dissatisfied. Reason I bought this boat is it's capacity as I'm a big dude. Never stored this boat improperly. It's been garage kept since I've owned it. Adult owned and maintained. Never been in a rough water situation. Flat lakes & rivers only. For a much as I paid for this boat I expected it to be a long term investment. Be awesome if they stood behind their product and replaced it but I doubt that will happen. Will reach out to them tomorrow and see though. Outside of color choices I see no difference in the design of the new models. Buy one today. Sink it in 2025.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic yak Bought my ER12 with no prior experience kayaking never had step foot in one I bought this one because the 500Lb weight limit and I’m a big g guy 5”11 290lb it took a few minutes to find my balance but once I got it I was able to get out there and really test out the capabilities. Tracks straight, low speed turns are work but at speed depending on your willingness to learn how far you can lean this thing turned like it had a rudder! Foot pads were never functional on mine as clips broke like nothing. The weight people complain about I don’t understand it’s a 12 foot boat... loading this and my fiancé’s 10ft pelican afyer a long trek hasn’t proved to be a challenge maybe the I-35 underpass in Austin is just a good launch spot but I have only the one complaint for the whole boat and I already covered it 5/5 would buy again

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good buy I’ve been using my Eagle Run for about a month or so now and love it. I have noticed s few things that could improve like the weight of it, padding of seat and the thigh pads could be reinforced better, but overall, it’s great!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Decent Yak TERRIBLE Support The Kayak by itself would get a 3 star review. It's a bit heavy going through the water and some of the components are not well made. The storage area is not even slightly waterproof. Why a 1-star rating, 3 for kayak, 0 for absolutely terrible support. Several of the fasteners have come loose - both in the seat and in the side (knee area) pads. Dick's Sporting Goods told me I need to get these from Field and Sream - Field and Stream told me I could only get these from Dicks. Neither offered or mentioned other possible sources for the fasteners. In the meantime both my seat and knee pads will soon be worthless due to damage from not being fastened correctly. Completely negligent support.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good, Low Budget Fishing Kayak Bought this kayak (my first) about four years ago and don't regret it. It's a great kayak. Especially for the price. Just sold it so I could get something better suited for what kind of fishing I do. Pros: spent hundreds of hours in it kayaking large and small rivers, creeks, and lakes with high winds and swift currents. This kayak can handle it. It's very stable. With all the bodies of water I used it on and all the big fish I hauled in, never once did I worry about turning over. I wouldn't recommend standing up in it though. It's not quite stable enough for that. I also enjoyed the amount of storage this kayak provides. Bungees on the front and back; a waterproof storage pod on the back (pod never leaked water); plenty of space in the bow for leg room and gear; additional space in the stern for gear; sturdy rod holders while paddling; cockpit is plenty wide enough for movement; and bungees on the sides of the cockpit for paddle/rod placement. The tracking and speed are fine for this type of kayak. Since a fishing kayak like this has a wider hull with a flat bottom, tracking and speed naturally won't be as good as other kayaks. At 60 lbs, I found this kayak to be very light and easy carry by myself to the water for short distances and to mount and dismount from the vehicle racks on top of my SUV. The seat is durable, adjustable, and comfortable enough. Cons: no major cons with this kayak. Just a couple minor issues. The cup holder on the front of the seat is impractical and pretty much useless. The padding on the sides of the cockpit are nice. Except, over time, they started coming loose from the plastic pop rivets holding them in place. Ended up removing the rivets and replacing them with zip ties to hold the padding in place. This is a personal con but this kayak isn't the most comfortable for fly fishing. Casting isn't an issue but stripping line can be. As a guy with broad shoulders, I had to chicken wing my left arm to strip the line over the side of the cockpit. You start to really feel the burn after a while.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great kayak Foot rest are junk and cockpit is advertised incorrect. It's 52x21.5 the Harmony Clearwater TTD 5622 Kayak Sprayskirt fits perfectly. Handles awesome in rough lakes but get a sprayskirt because the cockpit is massive .
