Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Kayak for the money Not super sturdy, and seat is horrible. I bought a canoe seat with a high back and it’s great with my little modifications. Glides and tracks nice. Choppy lakes will bring in some water in the troughs. Other than that it a great yak. I wish the back was a Little bigger to fit more gear. Will be making a custom rod holder rack next. Make sure to get some one way plugs for the self bailing holes

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great kayak.....but.... I bought the kayak a month ago and have paddled it for separate days, two of which were kayak camping. Hauled the gear and did great. The but is two items. The supplied seat was pure wet but. I put in a stadium seat, and the foot rests are junk but easily upgraded.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Low quality fittings and foot pedals I bought this about a month ago. The first one Dick's brought to my truck was returned due to the foot pedals would slide back and forth on their track. The rod holder is screwed into the plastic with out nuts or pop rivets and the fittings are generally cheap compared to Ocean, Cobra and Perception kayaks. This didn't cost as much as some of them but figure on hardware if you use this boat hard.. The foot pedals on this are subject to slipping when under a load and are not designed to be taken apart and repaired. Other than that the boat tracks well and is easy to move. It has a decent entry level seat that will need clips/ fittings. This is a boat that I take when I fish with friends and put them in the Ocean Prowler. If I had it to do over again I would save my money for a little better quality kayak

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Electric power The reason for purchase was to be able to Adapt a trolling motor. Project going very well Was a easy fit using rear pole holders. In Nevada craft has to be registered like a motor boat

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great yak great yak for a first time kayak angler. here are a few things i've noted. 1. the seat is horrendously uncomfortable unless you're short (i'm 5'8") and could use a cushion or an entirely new seat. i sat in the seat for about 6 hrs and that's when it started getting really uncomfortable. it could've had a high back but, it doesn't. 2. It did not come with the mesh bag that was stated in the product information and had to make use of a random plastic bag to keep my belongings dry. 3. the storage compartment lid (rubber lid) is quite hard to open and even harder in the cold weather. Although i do trust that very little water would end up inside anyhow. 4. i wish this came with at least 2 scupper hole plugs. 4 would be great but you really only need two. 5. Loved the mesh net for the tackle storage area in the back. easy access. wish an egg crate would fit but, i think there are totes out there that would fit perfectly. 6. The flush mount rod holders with leashes are awesome. didn't need to worry that i'd knock them off during launch or any other scenarios. 7. id recommend a 240 cm paddle or larger. i have a 230 cm and don't think its long enough. overall for my first kayak, this is great. just following the notes in stated would make your experience much better. if you have to be on a budget this would be the best bet in my opinion. but after a while id like to upgrade to one i can stand in, but id most likely keep this one since its lightweight and can be a 1man carry. i can carry it by myself and i'm by no means strong. also recommend looking into getting some padding and a mount or wall mounting this kayak. id imagine it could bow when the heat comes along so proper storage and transport accessories would be beneficial.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good kayak for when they are on sale I have had my kayak for almost a year now, at first I didn't get a good first experience from it due to the foot rails having this little piece easily fall off the rail which fell into the water and the seat is truly terrible, also the rear storage area is rather narrow for like a crate, but there are alternatives ways of making something from nothing, but after upgrading the seat and not really caring about the foot rail its a really great kayak handles well and very stable.
