Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spacious and warm I bought this sleeping bag after reading the good reviews. My husband laughed at me when he saw how large it was when we set up camp. Sadly, for three straight days it was raining heavily so it was humid and freezing, I could see my breath. Each night I was shivering until I wiggled into my sleeping bag and then I was almost instantly warm! It was amazing! It was also great to have space to move around and not feel like a mummy stuck on your back like my husband was in his different brand sleeping bag. Each of those rainy nights I was plenty warm, even in those freezing morning hours. So happy I bought this sleeping bag!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I bought TWO of these for a winter time camping trip with the Scouts. Recent night temps were in the single digits and below zero. I was concerned! On our trip it was only down to about 20*F, so not too cold... but I was able to sleep very comfortably in this bag with just light clothes on. The bag is huge! I'm 6'0", 230 pounds and there was room to spare. I could easily roll over and change positions without being a contortionist. Great bag for CAR CAMPING. Too heavy to lug out on the trail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the bag The sleeping bag is big, bulky and kinda heavy to carry long distances but it is absolutely the best sleeping bag I have ever seen. It's a great addition when you stay overnight somewhere as it really is warm and comfortable with enough room to sleep on your side even hugging a pillow. It would be great at a hotel, friend house to visit or camp site. Too big to carry long distance on a trail but I love mine. It would also be great as a blanket on a bed for people living in cold areas. In warmer conditions you might leave it unzipped so you don't get too warm but no worries it won't go anywhere as the weight keeps it in place even when turning with a pillow while it's unzipped. Love it even for warmer conditions it could be used to pad you from the ground at a camp site and take a lighter blanket to cover up with if you get too warm. Being in a warm area I would co comfortable down to 60 wearing shorts and a tank top. If you wear warmer clothes you can definitely use at cooler temperatures especially if you live in a cooler climate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10° and sweating I got this as a Christmas gift after freezing every year at an annual cold camping trip. I have has it for two years now and have had it inside a tent with long johns on in 10° weather and woke up sweating. Typical condensation inside a tent or light rain is no issue due to the thick canvas outer layer and the flannel inner layer feel like my old winter bed sheets, very warm and comfortable. GREAT WINTER BAG

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big I bought this for my 11 yo son for boy scouts. The bag was plenty warm. He did say it was too big for their tent, so it should be comfy for a grown man. It's very heavy though. They do provide good straps to close the bag, but a case or bag to carry it in would make it great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy! I had a good feeling about this bag and was NOT disappointed! I'd seen in the store several times and couldn't resist an online promotion. It was an "impulse buy" that was 2 years in the making.I've used it a couple of times now, including when temps were in the low 30s. I don't know when (if ever) I'll use it in sub-zero weather, so I'll write my review now.SIZE: This thing is ROOMY! I can spread my feet out wider than I ever would for normal sleeping. This will be good for those cold nights when I want to keep my morning's clothes in the bag with me so they aren't freezing when I put them on.WARMTH: At 30 degrees, I was sleeping in just boxers and was plenty warm. I actually had to open the bag a little so I wouldn't get sweaty. The flannel lining is also incredibly cozy, which makes the bag a happy place to be.WEIGHT: This bag is heavy, which I like. When in it, you feel like you're under a thick, heavy comforter. And the bag doesn't move and spin whenever you change positions. It stays put.CONSTRUCTION: I like the canvas shell. It's study so I don't have worry about it snagging and ripping. The zipper seems strong. I've put a little effort into making sure it didn't get caught on the lining, but it was pretty much a non-issue. I've been able to roll it back up to it's shipping size with no problems. It also fully unzips so it can be used as a comforter on a king-sized bed. BOTTOM LINE: This is a big and heavy bag, so you're not going to want to carry it far, but if it's going from your vehicle to the tent or unheated cabin, you'll love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best non-packable bag ever! As long as you don't have to hike it in, it's outstanding. It weighs a ton (14 lbs.) but it sure is warm and cozy. The flannel lining is soft and comfortable and the bag is roomy. It does not feel confining like a mummy bag and sleeps great. I only used it down to 35 degrees up left the zipper open so as not to get too hot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warmest Sleeping bag Ive ever had!! The canvas outer is soft and very comfortable. In colder weather, I stayed warm & toasty. This bag is oversized as well, so if you're like me and like to be able to move around a bit, this bag offers that flexability, without losing its warmth. I would definitely recommend.
