Rated 1 out of 5 by from design defect I bought this and returned after using once at the boat fishing. Forceps cannot be opened without using two hands while I have a fish reeled in and waiting to get unhooked. Was big hassle to keep the fish on hook aside; open forceps with two hands; and unhook the fish... Total inconvenient and defective design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is garbage it does not work. In spite of the fact that i informed the cashier at the Racine store that the handles of this so called tool are formed into a solid unit and cannot be opened at all. When I returned two weeks later for an unrelated visit, the same idiot designed product was on the shelves. I'm really unimpressed.. .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid, but small problem I don't know if this thing is stainless steel or not, but it rust after one fishing trip. Rust wasn't too bad. Rust was only apparent on the joint section. Despite the rust, the pliers did what they are meant to do and the build quality is slid.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Alright Pliers, Started to Rust These are really good for panfish and crappie. Had them in my backpack and they started to rust after the first day of having them. They do what they are needed to do, but the steel used is not the greatest quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid and Comfortable They are solid forceps and the rubber handles are comfortable to use especially with cold hands. The one negative is the scissor part doesn't cut well at all, especially fails at cutting fishing line.
