Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the price! I have 4 of these stands and for the price, they are my best "cheaper stands". Not only do they have plastic washers so it's quieter (esp over years of weathering), but the full platform and folding seat is great. I have not found a stand in this price range with this quality. And the instructions are simple with bolts being coded in the package- not sure why someone had difficulty. My only wish for improvement for this stand is that it could be taller. But again, at this price point, they usually all are around 15'. If you can get this on sale and with a coupon, you will not find a better stand for the price. Good luck hunting!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Price is right, stand is functional. First year using this stand and it held up nicely. During assembly I did mis-assemble a few steps in my eagerness to finish - but if you follow pictures and go slow, it's easy to get right. Was my first solo-stand assembly and I did it in around 2 hours. Word about the wrap-around secure straps: throw directly in trash or save for another project. For the money you save on this stand, replace the straps with more secure ratchet fasteners. One fastener comes with stand, secure an additional ratchet fastener near seat and a final ratchet at stabilizing bar at base of stand. Much more secure, much less room for error.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best deal in laddr stands by far. Own several of these. Great stand for the money. Have never used gun rail. Do yourself a favor and try these things: 1. Don't assemble in woods. They give you tools, but it goes much faster with a couple of ratchets and box wrenches. I assemble without tightening and then go to town with tools- it makes it faster and saves time if you use the wrong bolt for something. 2. Ditch the black rope they give you hold the stabilizer bar to the tree and use a ratchet strap instead. Makes it much more solid. (the black rope makes a good haul ine) 3. For the straps that crisscross around the tree, use ratchet strap mechanisms at the bottom instead of using the belt buckle thing . If you use a ratchet for the stabilizer bar and ratchet mechanism for those straps, you can climb up pretty confidently knowing the stand won't fall from the tree before you install the top ratchet strap. 4. Bring a half dozen zipstraps for the ladder pins that hold the ladder sections together. The retainers clank around when loose, so throw a strap across each. 5. Wind a bike cable around the ladder sections, the top part and the tree to insure that it will still be there next time. 6.Check your straps and cables regularly. The wind can affect tightness, especially with the stabilizer bar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good stand for the money I haven't used this stand yet but I have assembled it and put it on the tree it'll be on this season. It's everything you need in a ladder stand in my opinion. Shooting rails are more for piece of mind while standing than shooting to me. I've never seen one I could actually shoot from. The seat flips up which is why I chose this stand. The platform is big enough for me to be able to turn to make a shot. The reason for the four stars and not five is this, when I got in the stand and moved around the stand was a little more shaky than I'd prefer. No different than most stands nowadays. I'd prefer a ladder stand to be stiff. Other than that it's all you need and it'll do the job. Good luck out there!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Stand... Perfect Price I purchased this stand recently to have an additional stand in the woods for deer season. It was very easy to assemble, and put up. I'm a big guy, and I found the stand to be very sturdy, and comfortable. The larger foot platform was one of the key characteristics that helped me to decide to purchase this stand. The sale price was the other major determining factor. You can't go wrong for $70. The only thing that would have made this stand even better would have been the inclusion of some type of articulating spiked feet for the stand. I improvised feet for the bottom of the stand for added stability that did the job, but would have loved to already have those included.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value I got this stand to bow hunt behind my house but will gun hunt from it also. I purchased it on sale, and with a coupon, got it for under seventy bucks. I was truly impressed with the quality of this stand. Assembly was easy and instructions were precise. I'm 5'10 and 235 so stability is priority one. I put this stand up by myself in just a few minutes. Once anchored to the tree it was rock solid. I went one step further by putting rubber pipe insulation around the entire shooting rail to deaden any sound. A foot rest would be a plus but I'm satisfied considering the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easiest treestand I ever put together! I helped a buddy put a treestand together several weeks ago. The hardware package had various size nuts, bolts, and washers. The instruction book did not have any kind of guide or pictures to really determine what was what. It was really difficult to figure out the correct sizes. Very frustrating to say the least. I purchased this treestand from Dick's and was pleasantly surprised when I saw how the hardware was packaged. I was so impressed, I took a picture to show my friend who I had helped with his treestand. You can literally put this together without any tools of your own. Socket wrenches make it quicker, but you can assemble with the two wrenches they supply. I would definitely recommend this product. In fact, I am going to buy another one soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ladder stand This is my second of this tree stand it’s one of my favorites and it’s at a great price when on sale for 80 bucks even 100 I’d pay it’s easy to set up they have pics to help I’ve done both by myself my first one I’ve had 3 years now and still in great shape the only cons I can think of is I wish some of the washers was metal instead of plastic but still don’t effect it and the strap it comes with is pretty cheap I buy some at Walmart and the harness is really cheap but does work the seat works does fade with time but still in one peice no tears or anything I’d recommend this stand to anyone looking for a great cheap stand.
