Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty nice. Compact. little wiggly but its holding Only one that can hold me. I like the new more compact design. easier to store and heft around. it seems to wiggle laterally (end to end) more than I would prefer but I see no tendancy toward failure or any issues that need addressing. I am 450 pounds and it held me fine and was quite comfortable.Setup was simple and straightforward. Just watch those pinch points. if they catch a finger it will hurt. This thing has some mass. Height is good length is good width is good. Very comfortable no real complaints. The older model of this unit I have is holding up fine after 3 years (wanted a second one) and I like the more compact storage shape of the new model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal Cot!! Purchased this cot last weekend on sale ($99). First and foremost this thing is very comfortable. I used a flannel sleeping bag, with a 1/2" foam pad underneath. I was very comfortable, and had a great night sleep! I am looking forward to using this for my next elk hunting trip. I am 6'5", and weigh 260 lbs. I would have no apprehension snuggling with the wife on this thing it is such a well built cot. That being said, it is very heavy (as you would expect). So if you suffer from NUBS (No Upper Body Strength), you will hat this cot. The cot does rock a little bit, but no more than any other cot that I have used. I highly recommend...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would like to be able to use it I consider myself fairly strong and capable but the crossmembers never got installed tonight. Two of us tried to stretch the canvas and get the cross members installed. There is only one other person in the reviews that mentioned the challenge in getting the two cross members in. I guess I must have gotten two defective units. 15 minutes and no luck tonight. We'll try again tomorrow night. Perhaps someone from the company who brands this could write suggestions of how to prestretch the canvas. You'd think the owner of Land Ops could get this product functional.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far good First Campout it was tight as a drum and felt very rigid. Stored it in the bag for a month or so and went to Scout camp for 6 nights. Was looser and easier to get the top stretch and locked down with the bar. 3 nights into camp, started squeaking a little (am WELL with the weight rating - just at limits of a smaller cot). Physically shook it and it was quieter. This thing is heavy and probably pretty good but only have 8 nights experience to base it on. Reasonably comfortable - totally subjective here. Better than the ground and better with a self inflating roll on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its big ! It was toss up buy another air mattress when tend to get a hole or lose air over time, also having to crawl out of bed. This is nice, 40 inches wide so I can move around, it's up off the ground. I put down a sleep bag and laid on top, I like a firm bed, read some people like to add a bed roll/pad. Easy to setup/take down, during setup when you slide 1 of 2 end bars in you may need to use a stick or something to pry the last bar it into the grooves to lock it into place as the material needs stretched, also lock 4 little bars into place there is one on each corner. Its little on the heavy side so not sure you'll be packing this a long way. This will be used for camping, travel and guest bed when needed. Glad I picked it up, better then air mattress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and Large This thing is HEAVY. It has a similar design to many camping cots that fold up and fit into a skinny, portable bag, but the supports are very thick and sturdy. It was easy to put together based on the provided instructions, took less than 5 minutes. It takes a bit of strength to get the two crossmembers in place, as they have to stretch the canvas. This is not only longer and wider than my normal size cot that we have, but it is also around 6" higher. I would say this will hold a good amount of weight comfortably, gives plenty of room, and seems like it is built to last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm big, but bought it for it's size mainly. Setting it up the first time was fairly simple. I always just attempt putting something together without instructions initially. I needed the instructions for the 2 cross bars. It's the last (4th) one that was difficult, I needed both hands to pry & leverage the bar into position. I knew the fabric wasn't going to work for me because I planned to use this nightly. (Wife snores so loudly and won't leave the bed so this is the plan I came up with) I bought a twin size mattress to hopefully make it comfortable enough to sleep on every night. Last night was good. I was planning on storing it (put together) in my home office but is too tall to just slide it in like I wanted. I guess I'll have to break it down and reassemble daily. Will update if problems arise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy duty cots Bought 2 of these cots. A little hard to assemble the first time because they stretch very tight but get easier once the canvas stretches a little. Work best is you have a foam rubber topper - look for a wide one since cot is 40" wide and most mattress pads are around 25".
