Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not rely on the instructions I read reviews on this before ordering. The main complaint seemed to be the difficulty in getting it back into it's storage bag.The printed instructions are virtually useless for repackaging. It is not difficult to get into the bag but I recommend watching videos (such as on youtube) and practicing before going to the field. Also, if you know how to coil a band saw blade the main question will be where is the best place to grasp the hoops to coil the tent.To repeat, watch some videos and practice. It might be frustrating the first few times but it is not difficult it merely needs practice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pops Up Quickly, Takes Some Getting Used To It To Close It Up. The last review for this product was never posted, so here is a new one. This tent pops up quickly, yet takes some getting used to, to close. Completely frustrated, I found a video on the internet about this design. Now I can close it in less than 20-30 seconds by myself. When you do set it up, you will want to anchor the tent down with the provided strings, but don't overlook the base loop-tabs to keep it solidly in place. I've used it more than a dozen times in the field since fighting the losing battle in my living room after getting it home. Don't give up, look for the video.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont Buy I bought this last summer and use it as a privacy tent for the beach. It is literally the worst purchase I have ever made. I have used it almost every summer weekend since purchasing it. It is impossible to fold. Literally impossible. I am not exaggerating. I would rather scale Everest in my tightie whities rather than ever attempt to fold this thing again. After use I crumple it into a ball the best I can and shove it under something heavy before it pops open again like a jack in the box. Run as far as you can from this thing. When you think you're far enough go further. You'll thank me, your kids will thank me, your kids kids will thank me. I'm begging you in the name of all things good and holy, please don't buy this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great concept for privacy, but didn't work for us. My wife and I are in our late 60s, but avid cyclists and paddlers. We saw this privacy tent as a great way to get in and out of our biking/paddling clothes and into whatever we'd be wearing next. The privacy tent comes in its own zip-open/shut container and we've been experienced in current tents and canopies, so we thought this would be a great add to our outdoor gear. We got it home, and instead of having the fiberglass poles we expected to use to put it up, we found it has some extra-tough duty spring steel bands which pop it up into shape. It went up in a breeze-just disconnect the elastic tie that holds it down and it literally pops itself up. Nothing could be easier. BUT, we COULD NOT GET IT TO FOLD BACK DOWN ON ITSELF! My wife and I are experienced in all sorts of outdoor gear and I've got an engineering degree, BUT the instructions on how to loop/fold it in upon itself JUST DIDN'T WORK FOR US. We returned it the same day to our local Dick's for a refund. Maybe you'll see the magic needed to get it to come back down and get twisted together so it can go back into its bag. If you do, please put the video up!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy setup, challenging storage Read all reviews and agree. But I have figured out how to fold this and thought it may be helpful. I will try my best to describe without visual aids. Get the thing flat and hold the bottom in your hands out in front of you withbthe door side in your left hand. Twist your left hand and bring it towards your chest and you will be able to bring the right hand on top of it. hand under your left. Once you have that you can then fold the entire thing in half. From here it takes a little massaging to get the material touched away and in the bag. But once you get it once, it's s snap.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Impossible to Fold The reviews are exactly right when it comes to this privacy shelter. Works great when you have it up, but you'll come into an incredible level of frustration as soon as you're ready to put it away (even with Youtube videos). I hate to say it, but stay away from this product unless you have a lot of time and patience.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Size is great, set up so easy. Putting away HARD I DID IT! It was a pain to put bag in the bag but I persevered and did it by myself. I agree watching viedo was helpful but there is NONE for this specific pop up. OK I agree with the review about rounded bottom being a bit of a bad design plan but otherwise this has worked great. Roomy, pretty waterproof and definitely private. SO easy to put up. Stick with putting it away. It can be done. I was frustrated but with several ideas off youtube finally got it down. Since then not as bad to put away now that I believe it can be done. Someone that is good at this should really post a video

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doesn't fold up easily This tent pops right open out of the bag. Pay attention to how it unfolds so maybe you can try to fold it the same way when you want to put it away. The directions and pictures are poor. The bars inside the tent came apart when I tried to fold it up and it never folds into an actual circle. I'm leaving in two days to go camping and it's lying flat in my living room. The manufactures should ask themselves this question, "What kind of experience do we want out customers to have when they handle our products?" The answer to that question might save us all a lot of drama and frustration.
