Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Bang For Your Buck I bought this safe a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love it! Tons of space with easy shelf removal and organization. Very happy with the quality of carpet and how sturdy this safe is. Easy setup. Took no time at all to customize my keypad. The backup key is must just in case of a dead battery in keypad. I was fortunate enough to buy this safe when it offered FREE SHIPPING!!!!! That is what sold me on this safe. Very affordable with FREE SHIPPING is absolutely the way to go. Charging $420 to ship a safe is crazy. If you have patience, what till they offer FREE SHIPPING cause it will save you hundreds. Thanks Dicks Sporing Goods.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk I bought this safe, went to dicks, put it on my trailer, got all the way home, took it off the trailer, cut the cardboard off the safe and put the handle together. I then moved the handle and noticed alot of play in the lock system. So I closed the safe and on the handle I didn't enter the code but did try to open the safe and with medium pressure on the handle the safe popped open. Way to much slack in the door that the pins moved enough to open the safe without unlocking with the code. I'm going to call the mfg and see what there going to do about it, if nothing the safe is going back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Key pad issues For those who have had key pad issues please read. I bought this safe 11/16 and am currently on my 4th key pad. The problem is the internal electronics. Call Stack-on they have been very helpful but they don't know how to fix their problem. You need to "insulate" the internal computer board from touching any metal with electrical tape. To access this you must take the door liner off. My numbers 1-6 quit working and eventually the entire pad. The pad is not the issue however. Call Stack-On, tell them the problem and they will send you the replacement parts. The first 2 of mine quit working after 2 days, #3 worked for a year, #4 is currently installed and I took extra measures to make sure it does not touch any metal to short out the electronics. Good luck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Maybe the perfect safe for the money I bought this safe four months ago and friend and I were able to get it out of my truck and into my home office with a standard dolly. It is spacious and fit even the longest of my rifles. I bought this safe because it had an electronic keypad backed up with keys. I wanted a keypad because dials are slow especially in critical situations but was apprehensive the key pad might fail in an EMP. The back up keys eliminated that risk and are a great feature which has certainly been reassuring. I love this safe and the price is unbeatable for the features you get. Similar safes at Cabalas and Sportsman's were double the price and really didn't offer much more. I recommend this safe to all my friends and family and feel much better when I leave my home knowing my valuables are safe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Manufacturer's Warranty Bought this safe in July '17 and the keypad stopped working after less than 5 months. Called Field and Stream for support on buying a new keypad or my options for replacement. Said this safe in particular does not come with a manufacturer's warranty and you must purchase the warranty in store. Field and Stream/Dick's are definitely crossed off the list.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do you even America? Do you have a ton of freedom sticks lying around unsecured? Well, not when you have mini Fort Knox in your man cave. Sturdy, dependable, thick. A lot like that girl you used to date. If you want to subtly tell your neighbors not to mess around your house at night, then invite them all over to help you lift this thing into your house. Because, without a team of bearded men to lift it, it will be staying in your yard.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of Junk! After only three weeks, the keypad went bad. I contacted Stack-On (the manufacturer) and they mailed me cheap replacement parts. Customer service department was mediocre to poor. Had to contact them 5 times to get it resolved. The electronic keypad is pure junk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty electronic lock I bought this at Dicks at Christmas time for a gift to myself and my wife. When it came in I could not believe the slap in the door. There was 3/8” free movement in the door after it was closed. I bought a rubber grommet set to put on door to make it shut without having all that play in the door. Very poor engineering. Now 3 1/2 month’s later we have given up on using the electronic lock and just pop the cover off the lock each time and use the key. I would not take this safe as a gift if Field and Stream offered it for free. Very poorly manufactured and designed.
