Rated 4 out of 5 by from Have had this thing over a year now and i love. little heavy but thats fine. Last few outings though the casting deck has begun to crack quite a bit (not the actual hull of the yak. just the plastic piece screwed in on top) and it makes a lot of noise when shifting myself around in it. Have been very unsuccessful in finding a replacement. Hopefully F&S will see this and can help me out fairly quickly. otherwise very stable kayak. I am very confident with standing in this. shes a little slower than others and seems to track as well as other yaks but then again that could be my fault or even the current.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for. I researched all the different brands and styles of fishing kayaks before I chose this one. It was every thing I was looking for at half the price of the big boys. Couldn’t be happier. I got a great deal and was able to buy a striker 7sv fish finder all for less than some of the more well known fishing kayaks. The seat is great, and the fishing deck is awesome. There is more than enough room to stand and fish, and it is easy to stand in this kayak. I had fun rigging this the way I liked. Once again, couldn’t be happier with my choice. You get a lot of bang for your buck in this kayak.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stability is Great The Shadow Caster Kayak great for a fishing platform. I like the sensation from this kayak of not going to tip over with every move I make. I can focus on fishing and not swimming. I am adding a trolling motor for rowing ease. I very much like the seat. A real seat built for people that fish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice yak! I research this product very well prior to buying. Read a lot of reviews. Heard a lot about tracking issues, screws that pulled out of the seat area and the overall weight of the yak. So far after 4 trips we've had zero issues. I luv that we can stand up and fish. It sure breaks up from having to sit all the time. The yak is heavy but my 12 year old has no issues helping me out nor does he have issues handling the yak.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great kayak for fishing! Got this kayak on a gd deal in- store over a sale weekend. I'd been eye balling it for awhile due to lower price comparably, and its size. I wanted something kinda big to be able stand up, or sit down fish, and jst be able to move around on a little bit. I've been out on mine now probably 10-12 times and overall love it. Unless it's 15mph winds i can stand up fishing which is very nice to be able to stretch legs. It's big, i always carry a 55 qt. Cooler on back behind seat which is always loaded with ice, beer, drinks, food. No prob tracks pretty well, it's tuff paddling when wind picks up, but its a kayak what do you expect. Good upper body workout, I've caught lots of fish from it already living in Tampa bay area. The grey camo color looks really sharp, and i have accessorized this kayak pretty well with various different things which is nice. I would recommend this kayak, it's relatively cheap, big, gets you on the water to catch fish, and allows you to bring what you need

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very stable yak The only con I have with this yak is it doesn't trek well and there's no stern hatch but overall very nice rig comfortable

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's a good kayak for the money but not as good as I expected I bought this kayak after returning the pelican 120. It's deff nicer than that one tracks better more stable etc. Still not stable enough to stand in I'm 62 260lbs. And the hull leaked when I first got it. Pretty bad 4 HR trip about a half gallon or more inside. Caulked it up and been fine since just about a cup or so now after 6 hrs on the water. Like it but will deff buy up to something more stable next year.
